Hi Ladies,
I’ve read Pals breast forms are intended for sleeping. Has anyone had a problem with them during sleeping and putting weight that could weaken or burst A seam?
Alice
Mine leaked. Tossed them.
Diane
Hi Diane,
Thanks for the insight!
Alice
They seemed to sweat. $97 down the drain,
Best ones for sleeping in or going braless be those from Divine creation. Know they cost alot but are the best think another one is gold sealed. Have a D cup athena breast plate wear it at times but since getting natural breast now with help of HRT been just using a pushup bra.
LOL lets call it in to Webster could add it to other ones. hehe.
Horses sweat, gentlemen perspire and ladies glow.
Well known fact - worth remembering on a hot summer's day when you're working in the garden and glowing like a pig...
I've worn a pair for the better part of 15 months, including sleeping. Pals forms are a single gel piece, not silicone. They aren't in a plastic bag that can split. In fact, if they are too big (perhaps stick out the side of a top) they can be cut and cured with talc.
They will have a vanilla smell for a long time. You can't use the same glue on them that you use on silicon forms. I got a special glue for these forms, but found it didn't work. They do become a bit sticky when worn for a long time but are easy to clean with mild soap and water. Just make sure to have a clean towel (something that doesn't have your hairs on it).
I have been very happy with my Pals forms.
I often sleep in my breast forms. Biggest problem I ever had is they might slip out of my bra.
I bought a pair of Pals forms from Glamour Boutique this March specifically for sleeping. They cost me a pretty penny, more than most of the silicone forms on Amazon. I bought an Amoena pocket bra, which luckily fit the forms just perfectly, and I've been sleeping in the Pals/pocket bra rig since about April.
For the reasons mentioned by Alison, I'm not as happy with the Pals forms as I am with silicone. That "vanilla" smell hasn't gone away yet, and it's just as strong as ever. They're sticky to the touch, and they leave your fingertips tacky. The "stickyness" has seeped into the backing of the pocket bra cups. They do, however, seem to be "burstproof" as promised -- at least, so far. I'll have to try Alison's advice and try washing them in warm water with mild soap.
Prior to the Pals, I slept in silicone forms in a pocket bra for years without a problem. But eventually the outer "skin" of one of the forms split and exposed the silicone inside. What a mess. I didn't attempt a repair, I just stored them in my box of "femme failures".
When I first succumbed to the urge to sleep in bra/forms I was hooked from the first night, and now, I can't sleep without them! So, I guess I'll just continue to sleep in the Pals for the time being.
Hi Camryn,
Thanks for listing the pros and cons. As you say they are not inexpensive.

UPDATE on my Pals forms:
Taking Alison's advice, I washed the pocket bra to get the "sticky" out. I washed the Pals forms with some liquid Softsoap and let them air dry. Then I liberally sprinkled the forms with J&J Baby Powder and rubbed it in, and inserted the forms back into the pocket bra -- much easier to do with the dusting of powder on the forms.
Significant improvement!
Much of the "vanilla" smell is now gone. There remains only a smidgen of "stickyness", but I'm satisfied with the result overall.
