My wife gave me the ok to take a solo vacation so I'm planning to drive to Southern California from here in Utah the first week of October and spend as much time as I can as Sofia. My plan is to leave on Monday afternoon and drive to Las Vegas the first day, get dressed up and do something fun, then drive to Long Beach and spend Tuesday and Wednesday nights there, then reverse the drive with another stop in Vegas for Thursday night then home on Friday. I would really appreciate any tips on things to do, places to go, places not to go, or any advice about traveling en femme in general.
I'm planning on getting a makeover and have a few different places I'm looking into for that. I plan on going to Hamburger Mary's in Long Beach for Their Tgirl Tuesdays and hope to find clubs to go to on my other nights in Cali and Vegas. Shopping is huge on my list and I hope to find stores with shoes in my size because that's been my hardest wardrobe item to obtain so far and I don't want to order them from the internet. Any advise about must visit stores would be appreciated.

I really want to be Sofia for the entire trip, driving, going to restaurants for meals, checking into hotels, and everything else involved with travel. I don't want to compromise my safety though so any advice that could help me would be appreciated!

Sofia.....sounds like a great trip....why no S/O? Just keep your eyes open, do not pick-up hitch-hikers, make sure your car is fully capable of doing trip without issues. Secure your purse and do not carry credit cards and large amounts of cash in purse. Use 1 card only and keep in bra or panties along with extra cash, so can can make phone calls and get taxis to safety. Watch using cell phone to take pictures....inattention is when thieves attack. Keep eyes open for suspicious people....especially ones who don't make eye contact and appear nervous in a crowd as is#1 thing to watch for..Isreali Mossad Handbook.
Other-wise have a great time. Also...check in daily 2x with friends to let them know where you are.

- Thank you Lady Veronica, those are all good tips. As a man I've never felt much at risk in most situations but I know it's a different story if I'm perceived as a woman, or even clocked as a cross dresser. My S/O doesn't know about Sofia and we regularly take separate vacations anyway. I work weekends and she works during the week and I've used up all my time off for family vacations this year. Also she was feeling guilty because she's taking our two teenagers on a trip for Thanksgiving weekend that I can't go on because of work. It would be fun to have a companion for the trip, but I've traveled solo many times and always managed to have fun. I think the biggest concern really is avoiding doing things and going places that a woman wouldn't ordinarily do alone. I would love to have girlfriends like me to meet up with on the trip, but I'm so new to this that I haven't formed any friendships in Vegas or SoCal yet. So I'm totally open to getting to know any girls who might want to get together and do girly things while I'm there!
Wow, Sofia that sounds like a lot of fun. I so envey you right now!!! I hope you don't mind me asking, but I would love for you to write and tell us other girls about your trip. What you are doing is a dream of mine. Anyway, listen to the wise advice of Lady Veronica, be careful and stay safe.
