@lizk Don't recall seeing her in that dress, but imagine is making me think what she would look like. Now, have to see the movie.
She wore that dress to the premier with her boyfriend at the time, Hugh Grant. He was in the movie. She was not. The dress she wore was held together with safety pins. For the time, it was considered very daring.

This goes back many years.
The scene in the movie Bullet. Jacqueline Bisset's character staying overnight at her boyfriend's apartment (Steve Mc Queen's character). She greats him in the morning wearing one of his dress shirts. She looked so Adorably Sexy in that scene!

Hi. Three famous (to me anyways) characters, all from my youth: 1.) June Cleaver- alwaysin a dress and heels and well coifed and being an attentive Mom; 2.) Ginger from Gilligans Island- I loved her beautiful and tight gowns on a deserted isle and so wanted to be her; and 3.) Sophia Loren- pure and raw and beautiful. Total Woman. There are more, but those three popped up first. Micah

@brandicd11 Yes indeed re your descriptions. Re Ginger, never too many clothes to take on a 3 hour tour- she was ready for anything. There was so much class in the women of that era. I actually got to work in Liz Taylor's bedroom once- EVERYTHING was purple.Literally. She had already passed when I was there. She would also qualify for the list.

@brandic Hi Brandi, I'm a past "corset lover". When I used to get into "Lady C" mode, I looovvvveed being "tightly corseted". But it all gradually faded away..
Hardly ever even wear any shapewear these days, mostly cos when I did I was getting my "Full Caty On" PSeky hath trubbles have prevented me from doing so for all of 2024

Off the top of my head there are a couple - the first would be one of several of Bridget Bardot dressed in a black, belted leotard with black fishnet tights, sideways on the floor, knees together, propping herself up with her right arm and brushing her hair over her head with her left hand... just so feminine and sexy!
And there is a famous shot of Joanna Lumley as Purdey in The New Avengers. A similar pose to the Bardot one actually, although she is dressed in a lovely blue floaty dress with transparent shoulders and sheer blue tights... it's easy to find on Google. I never liked the haircut so I'd have to go for a longer bob, but Joanna looks smouldering!

At the end of The Rocky Horror Picture show there is a scene where Frank-N-Furter is standing in front of an RKO TV transmitter mast in his finest attire.... As a radio ham and a crossdresser, this really strikes home. That scene is me! I long to be able to recreate it.

The Marilyn Monroe red sequin dress from Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. This is second only to Jessica Rabbit's red dress. I'm actually working on a dress similar to these right now but will probably cut the length just above the knee. I thought that I'd get it done for this holiday season but now it looks like a project to be finished next year. Party on, Marg

I found a video of 'Boogie with Stu' by Led Zeppelin recently on Youtube and find the lady dancer sexy as all get out.
