Hi ladies,
I was reading the thread about skinny jeans, and the topic of wallets came up. I was at the Nutcracker fund-raising event last Saturday, and I found an interesting item called a Touch Screen Purse, though the smaller ones are more like wallets. They are basically clutch purses, with a special clear-window pocket on one side, where you put your phone, and can leave it in to use it; the opposite side has a pouch with a clasp, where I drop my guy skinny wallet. In between are 4 compartments, one with a zipper. I carry mine as a clutch purse, but it does come with detachable shoulder strap. It's worth a look at
htpps://savethegirls.com . And no, I have no connection to the product or site.
Hugs,
Bettylou
You know Betty, my wife saw their TV commerical. That got her thinking. She said what about one for them keyboard less laptops. So she get hit a bad guy with some weight
Hi Lisa,
If you want to carry "everything", these are not for you. Cash, cards, ID ,car key and perhaps lipstick. And the phone, of course. I still have my wallet in the side pocket, so I can just take it instead when I need to be in guy mode, but those days are limited in my future.
Hugs,
Bettylou.
Hi Bettylou lisa is right some of this is lost in translation, I use 1950/60's Handbag with a ladies purse for cash. Plenty of room in Handbag for compact lipstick keys etc all very femme.
Love Sarah xx
Hi Bettylou, my comments are pretty much the same as Lisa's. Here in Canada we call them wallets, not billfolds. I carry my credit cards in my wallet that goes in my handbag (plus all the other good things that fit into the handbag). Take care, Hugs Krista.
Hi Krista,
This STG purse is literally a clutch purse; too small for any "accessories" other than a comb and lipstick. But it's adequate for my lifestyle and 95% of my outings. I have a couple of larger purses, but no need for a shopping bag, such as my wife used to carry.
Hugs,
Bettylou
