I wanted to pose this question to you ladies who have reached the stage where Dressing is now just a standard part of your day. Where the period of excitement and desire to wear the most feminine of clothing how now changed to making style/outfit choices the same as GGs do.
Do you still wear a skirt or dress if your just having a day at home? Do you still Dress when you plan to do house work/chores?
Hi Stephanie.
I have been dressing daily, since November, and the thrill has changed, to a comfort.
I do wear a dress, or skirt and top every day.(mon-fri I only have an hour or two to dress), and on the weekends when I am dressed all day, Also usually a dress or skirt. That is when I do the housework, and cooking for the week. Of course, I wear an apron, don't want my pretty clothes getting stained, now do I?
I do have lady pants and shorts, which I wear when I have to go out as "him", and of course my bra and panties, 24/7.
I do make style choices, but my choices are always feminine, and I pray that never goes away.
Hugs, Regi👸💕
I dress everyday.
My mood sets the tone for the day.
I always wear panties, bra with forms, a wig and full makeup.
And rings, necklaces, and bracelets.
If I am home for the day I may wear yoga pants, and a t-shit, tights and a sweater, jeans and a top. And if I am not doing housework I often put on a dress.

Hi Stephanie That a great question That is totally up to the individual Some enjoy getting dressed up part time and in private There are those who enjoy it full time all the time. There is a whole lot of GG's that do not choose to find their own style but do pay attention when putting simple outfits together. Finding your style and sticking with it takes more work than my wife wants to give. She is just to busy with other things. My wife just puts a few cute outfits together that work for her for different occasions. I other hand enjoy having my own style it just make shopping so much easier for me. The majority of my clothing is made for woman that is why i enjoy wearing them daily. I try not to wear men's clothing when i do not have to. I just do not like them any more. So yes I dress when doing chores going shopping. I will wear my male clothes when doing something that may ruin something that is cute. There is still excitement that is for sure I hope that will never go away If that goes away its time to see my therapist again it just means i am depressed. Hope that helps

Stephanie,
I dress every day and night. The only time I do not outwardly dress Femme is when I am going outside and then I am always underdressed.
Now makup is a different story. I am not that good in doing my makeup so I only use lipstick. I'm working on getting my makeup applied better.

Stephanie.
Oh yes ..
Absolutely!!!...I wear a variety of different clothes depending on what I am doing around the house.
From older clothes or an apron if I am cleaning my oven or doing other household chores .....to a nice dress or skirt with a blouse if I am relaxing or dining.... to silky jimjams or a onesie in the evening....

Since I dress 24/7 it is much like a GG's daily choice of what to wear. I like to wear dresses as much as possible, unlike many GG's. If I need to do outside chores that will involve getting dirty I will wear drab (with underdressing and my wig of course, I'm still a woman!) Like Regi said, don't want to get my pretty clothes dirty.
When the weather warmed up last month I put away my warm sweater dresses. Oops, that was a bit presumptive, now it's only a high today of 50°F and rainy so I'm layering leggings with tights and a jean jacket over my summer top.
Like Regi, I've only been dressing full time for a few months but I find my style evolving conservatively. I started wanting to be daring and flashy and in private I was, even to the point of slutty. Fortunately my GG friends held me back on my public dressing behavior. My legs may look great in nylons but I don't think the world is ready for a 68 year old in a micro mini skirt, garter belt, nylons, 4" heels and crop top. I cringe at the thought now but at the time the pink fog and euphoria made the new me crazy.
My wardrobe is becoming more age appropriate as I continue to grow into my new life. When I first came out I felt young (too young!) But as I traveled on in the journey I rapidly began to age. Lately I have felt about 10 years short of my physical age, which is where I hope I stay.
I prefer dresses, knee length not mini's, although I have a few skirts that can be worn at several different lengths. It's fun to hike them up at home alone and be naughty grandma!
I still enjoy dressing every day and hope that never changes although choosing what to wear sometimes seems a chore, until I've made my choice and start putting it on. Then the joy is always there.

I need to get shorts and pants. So far only dresses, skirts, lingerie, shoes etc etc. Need to add accessories like a handbag and also get some shorts, pants, and more tops.
If I'm staying in, I'm probably wearing a dress...that's my preferred clothing. It's going out which causes complications. Do I find the right skirt/blouse pair, or go for leggings and a tunic? Or skinny jeans and tee? And if the outing is with my wife, I will probably choose a dress; GGs are wearing them again, and I can do so without standing out too much. Having her as my wingman (winggirl?) helps my self-confidence, also.
I try to reserve drab for "dirty" chores or when the kids are dropping in.
Makeup is mostly reserved for outings, but I have been doing my brows and a touch of lipstick daily, now.
I have been dressing almost full time for over four years and dressing so have settled to being an every day crosdresser. You asked...
Where the period of excitement and desire to wear the most feminine of clothing how now changed to making style/outfit choices the same as GGs do.
In my early years I always loved to wear what I considered feminine. It was what was worn by the girls I envied and I had many years of experimenting. Now I have evolved my style and it is the same as GG's girls wear.
An average day would be wearing the same clothes for the day. That would be for work, shopping, household chores and socialising as all could be done throughout the day. I wouldn't be changing outfits for each task.
If I were going out in the evening or a daytime special event, I would put on something nicer if required.
I have a wardrobe that covers all seasons and eventualities. I am age appropriate and do prefer to wear dresses of all types to suit the occasion. I only have to dress down occasionally and I do not have any problem with that. Like GG's it is nice to dress up in nice clothes as there are always those at have been bought for that occasion and may never be worn. I wear the same things as GG's as they are readily for sale. I wear what I feel comfortable in and is my style.
I am always checking the mirror before I go out feeling lucky that I can wear what I feel good in.
I suppose I am very much like any GG but have never lost that excitement or desire.
Hi Stephanie
I dress full time and feel good about it, the fact of how good that feels still gives me the excitement.
I have a pretty diverse wardrobe that allows me to choose daily outfits based more on activity suitability rather than whatever age appropriate is supposed to mean. I actually now have a selection of clothes that I can wear to work that if they got spilled on, soiled, or torn wouldn't be to upset about.
I generally still change into 'something more comfortable' when I get home.

Hi Stephanie, great question. I started out as a the slutty maid and worked my way back to a respectable housekeeper, sort of went from femme fatale to librarian. I will dress for kitchen and housework and my SO knows I’m much more cooperative when I dress. For the dirty out door work I wear what any woman wears, tshirt shorts and sandals. I only put wig makeup jewelry, when I’m going away from the house where I wear either dresses or blouse top combos. Usually mid calf length and open collar. I wear very colorful outfits. I also wear sporty with long tops and yoga pants. Shoes usually match. Panties and bra are still way more sexy than my SO. I actually had a gg in tshirt and shorts come up to me in a clothing store to get my opinion on an outfit she was going to purchase. ♥️ Jennifer
I have been dressing every day for the last 14 1/2 months, since the pandemic. Most of that time, I have been in a skirt and top or a dress. For me, jeans or leggings is stealth dressing. It's what I wear when I have to go out where I'm known, have workers at the house, or have to appear in male mode. And then it's with an androgynous women's top. Only occasionally have I attended religious services where most of my clothing was men's.
I have been wearing a dress or skirt working from home, as well as when going out for walks in my neighborhood, going shopping, or picking up food from places I don't go often enough for people to recognize me. Length, material and color differ with the seasons. Often at home I'll wear my wig too, although I discovered it isn't good for core exercises on the floor. As far as makeup, I'm only wearing some beard cover and occasionally some concealer and bronzer most of the time going out. When I was wearing a mask, I wasn't wearing any makeup, just a feminine mask.
I just prefer a skirt or dress to wearing pants. Maybe because it's so different, maybe because I can when presenting as female. Does wearing a skirt or dress all the time make me stand out? Probably to some extent, but I don't care. I have gotten compliments a couple of times at the supermarket. It really influences people's opinion that I am female.
I have been dressing almost daily since 1977 when I moved out on my own. Some days I stay in my pj's, whether they be a night gown or flannel shorts and top. If I have outdoor chores, it will be jeans or shorts and usually a pull over top. I do most of my house work inside in a dress or skirt.
The pleasure I get is mostly from being able to relax in what I am doing by being myself both outwardly and inward. The appearance needs to match personality. I wear a unisex uniform at work, which I change out of as soon as I get home, and drab clothes just make me uncomfortable to wear any longer than I need to

Hi Stephanie,
Love your question.
I do dress everyday. I wear a dress with heels and nylons everyday. Since I'm learning how to put on lipstick I think I will add that to my morning routine as well.
I want to present as a woman as best I can all the time. Stephanie I would like to be fully dressed all day, every day.
With affections,
Diane
