In 2023, I leapt back into crossdressing with a fervor that I hadn’t expressed in decades. I joined CDH, and have had two wonderful getaway opportunities to dress completely. I’ve spent time almost daily thinking about who I am as Gemma, buying girlie things, and building connections here with friends. For the first time in my entire life I have shared my thoughts and feelings with others who understand and empathize, and I have begun to accept that this is an important part of who I am.
In 2024, I plan to take additional steps to gain more experience as Gemma, and to step out into public as the self that I have kept hidden for so long.
What are your greatest CD accomplishments in 2023, and what are your goals for 2024?

@gemmalovegood In 2023, I started doing more and more everyday things as my authentic feminine self. This has helped to build my self confidence more and more. In 2024, I hope to keep my momentum going and integrate my femineity into more and more of my everyday life. Right now I making additions to my wardrobe of everyday clothes including sweaters and leggings. For the spring, I plan on adding some cute sundresses, rompers and skirts.
@lauren114 That sounds so exciting! Building a wardrobe is something I never cared about as a man, but Gemma has BIG dreams and I’m quickly running out of private storage space. One more pleasant problem to solve, I suppose.
@gemmalovegood Happy new year everyone!! 2023, a pretty good year for stephanie, dressed somewhat almost everyday, went to the big city and went shopping by myself dressed in casual feminine attire for three days, started playing with makeup, having my wife on board with stephanie, and increasing my wardrobe with blouses dresses and skirts. For 2024 my main goal is to learn how to apply makeup (more than just eyeliner and lipstick) and of course work on that wardrobe
Your 2023 sounds quite similar to my own.
In fact, I looked at your profile and that’s also quite similar to my own.
Like you, this year I did an intro on CDH, and found myself able to share what was going on in my head with people that understood. I’ve found that has made such a massive difference to me.
I’ve made good friends and been out en femme a couple of times.
For 2024 I want carry that on, and I would really like to meet up with another CD, hopefully someone from this wonderful site.
One thing I need to stop doing though is buying quite so many clothes!
I’ve never had that much interest in boy clothes, but I just loves shopping for clothes for Lucy.

@gemmalovegood I am glad that you grew your dressing more, last year. Have fun with it this year, too.
I hope to expand my dressing more in public and wearing more dresses at home, as well. For example, today, I am going to attempt androgynous dressing going to a doctor's appointment. No bra and forms before the appointment, but my Mary Jane shoes won't be hidden.

2023 will go down as the year I went pretty much full time at home . It's wonderful .
I also found Shein for buying loads of try out fashions and shopping .

@kayt Congratulations on living your life en femme! What a dream that would be. My daughter and wife buy from Shein all the time, so I dare not buy from them in fear they might open a package intended for me.
@gemmalovegood thank you . It's a shame you can't it really is good stuff at sensible prices . I love their selection of leggings and have the patience to go through them all .y wife then goes on , has a look at the basket after she's made her reselection and on several occasions liked my chooces so much got herself some 🤣

@conniech yes , subject to some ground rules (that were mutually set ) she and other family members are very supportive and don't bat an eyelid. The ground rules include such basics as I don't wear anything of hers , at least not without direct consent , we also discuss the merits and pros and cons of me telling various people and I have to be honest she's got it 100% correct so far .we do share things like perfume . I couldn't have got as far as I am without her . Our daughter couldn't care less saying people should be able to wear what they want (she already has a flambouyant crossdresser aqauintance ) and our son when I told him actually said "oh is that all" . I count myself as very very lucky.
I hope my Shein comment was clear , she isn't checking up on me , more having a look to see what I'm ordering and if she likes it for herself.
Seems like 2024 is going to see Gemma coming out more and no holding you back. Wonderful.
2023 is the year that Mia was born. Wife doesn’t like Lisa so I had her rename me. I live 24/7 now when at home and underdress at times when I’m out of the house. So I can say the last 4 months of the year has been great and pray all goes well in 2024.

2023 was my first full year of living full time as a woman. For 2024, I want to spend more time with my CD friends and finally wear my bathing suit to the beach!

Congratulations Gemma! I hope this year brings you more joy than can you can imagine! For me, 2023 was another year of learning to accept and love my feminine self, through exploring what this all means to me. Jill is definitely an integral part of who I am and I will no longer deny her. For the new year, I hope to go out even more than I did this year with even less fear.

Gemma , your reflections simply shine with contentment and ambition! Pictures of you wearing your Luna dress are as appealing and alluring now as when I first viewed them. Your 2024 plans are exciting and a bit suspenseful: waiting for your future pictures and stories! I shall wait and look ahead to the Adventures of Gemma.

Gemma, I am so proud of everything you’ve accomplished this past year. But I need to save up some of my pride, because I’ll need to expend it in the year to come, when I see all the wonderful things I know you’ll accomplish in 2024.
2023 was a defining year for you. And it was certainly one for me as well. I found Angela in 2023. I joined Crossdresser Heaven. I became a Media Ambassador.
But none of that is more important to me than the fact that we became friends in 2023. Best friends. You were with me (virtually) when I took my first steps out in public. You have been my confidant so many times.
I know it’s going to sound a little cliché, But I’ll end with it anyway.
