Does anyone here attend Renaissance festivals dressed as their feminine self? I plan to attend this year dressed in a Victorian long bustle skirt and white lace blouse. I will add a under-bust corset that has garters and match with fishnet stockings and black ankle boots. I really can't wait to go have fun looking beautiful!

Sandy,
That sounds delectable. However, I'm thinking your outfit is several centuries out of date. Either way, have fun.

The skirt will not have an actual bustle in the back, the front has the ability to hike up well above the knees on both sides so it will look more like a pirate skirt and that's how I will wear it. Most festivals you will see just about every century on display. I'm excited because this will be the first time going as Sandy. I have worn kilts many times which was enjoyable but it always seems to just miss the mark in my mind.

I know that, Sandy. Injust couldn't resist. I am, after all, a master Smart Alec, and must never ignore an opportunity to hone my craft.

Sounds fun but your costume seems more like Steampunk to me, however it's called I bet you look amazing and enjoy transporting yourself out of the mundane for the time you're dressed up in it.
Not the renaissance faire but did attend a Victorian Party years ago in a similiar outfit when I was living in the bay area. It was a super blast of fun eventhough the customs rentals were costly. wish I could repeat it.
