I've talked a few times about Milkshake Night. If you haven't seen my posts, it's basically I get dressed up and go through the drive through on Sunday evenings to get my wife and I a milkshake. Then I go home and we enjoy them, and later, each other. Anyway, my outfits are usually a mini with heels, some type of top with full makeup and earrings. Sometimes it's a dress. Once it was all see through outerwear. It's fun for me, and we always enjoy it when I get home. This time of year it's especially "fun" because I don't have a garage. I do have an outside driveway and neighbors lol
Do you have any rituals you enjoy while dressed up?
A couple of years before COVID, my company started to pay me for taking a certain number of steps per day. I found I was reaching the goal on weekdays but not on weekends. So I started walking around my neighborhood. Well it only took a week or two before I decided if I'm going to be paid to walk, I'm going to enjoy it. So I started taking my walks en femme. I even have an ankle length coat I use to take walks even in the dead of winter.
Although I have taken some breaks for weather and health issues, I still take this walk around my block (which is a 3 mile trek). And now that I am retired, I still head out as often as I can to walk en femme around my neighborhood.
Other than that, my monthly Costco runs are often done en femme.
That's awesome!!!! Other than Milkshake Night I'm not allowed out the front door when dressed up 😀
