Hi girls Roz is back, I've not been able to login because i forgot my password and with the help from Vanessa who sorted my new password out I'm back and ready to chat, I would like to give a big welcome to the all the new girls from across the pond in the US and Canada, and all the new girls around the world it's a pleasure to meet you all,

@alexina Allie, I'm a retired IT professional of 45 years standing and I know all the advice but I also have one password for everything. I know it's not advised but at our age there's no other sensible option xx.

I do change the numbers and letters around for different websites and Apple keeps them in the cloud anyway but I totally agree. When I worked as a lecturer in a large college, every Monday morning I had to change my log in password. By lunchtime I was contacting tech support to get me back in as I'd forgotten what random nonsense I'd picked.
At the same college, one of the other lecturers stuck post-its all round her monitor, each with the log in details for every site she used. Numpty!

If you have more password issues, you can reset it using the 'Lost Password' link at the bottom of the login window. You can also use the 'Contact the Managing Ambassador' link to contact staff.

@rozalyne I can relate. I know passwords are a necessary evil but it is so frustrating when you are trying to get on a site and you get caught up in a validation loop that you just can't navigate through. It's great that Vanessa got you back with us.
Hi Michelle that's how it was i kept asking for a password reset and nothing was happening, it was so frustrating so in the end i sent an email to CDH and asked Vanessa for some advice and she was marvellous in sorting it out for me,

@rozalyne I understand totally. Had the same issue the other day trying to access some of my medical records and after screaming in frustration I just gave up since I didn't have anyone I could call for help at the time.

@rozalyne welcome pack don't get me started on passwords my employer makes me change my login password a few times a year so running out of ideas for memorable ones. Also doesn't help that I have to remember different logins for each app I use...

Yes i know, i was trying for weeks to change my password but to no avail, Vanessa changed it for me and sent me my new password by email and now I'm back and looking to catch up with all the girls gossips,

Glad you're back Roz and just a password clinch and nothing more serious. I saw a great comic years ago, with a parent and child looking at their new puppy and the parent says, "Now think very carefully what you want to name your new puppy, because it will be used as your passwords for the rest of your life."
My problem is now that I've had so many dogs, I have to remember when I joined the sight and which dog I had.

Good to see you back Roz 🙂 Aren't passwords a pain, especially when they won't save when you have to change them - I've just had that with Amazon, had to get a reset code every time I wanted to log in.
Now, don't forget to write your new password on a sticky note that you can attach to the side of your screen. And to keep you covered in case it falls off, you can upload a photo of it to your public photos on here, so all you have to do to find it is search on 'Rozalyn Richards Crossdresser'.

Hi Fiona I've already copied my new password down so i won't forget it, Vanessa was a marvel helping me with my new password i can't thank her enough, when i managed to get back on CDH i had 8 people requesting friendship requests and lots of people asking after me,

I use a password manager (Nordpass in my case). I used to write all my passwords down in a book but now I only have to remember the master password. Of course if I forgot that, my life would be virtually ruined as there are over a hundred password/email combinations stored there. I'm not a complete idiot though, every now and again, I print out the whole list and put it in my firesafe—technology works...until it doesn't.
