It's a sad day up here in the great white north. We had to say goodbye to Gordon Downie, the lead man for one of our great bands the Tragically Hip. After a 2 year battle with brain cancer he is now at peace. RIP Gordie, we're going to miss you.
I did not know Gorden Downey, however I was aware of Tragically Hip. Their music was not my type, but I do feel sad for his passing. Recently, too many people in the industry have passed......people whom I sat and listened to. It makes me very sad to see all of my past slipping away and realizing I am just a banana peel away from oblivion too. My schools, my hangouts, my work places........all gone and replaced by something alien. My roots are gone.........why do I insist on hanging around? I wish I knew............I just enjoy being femme and my new femme friends too much to pull the trigger.
