As we all know, external links are forbidden but if you like the idea of fantastic ball gowns, all done very tastefully (I checked), then you could do worse than to search for AI Satin Chic on Youtube (look specifically for the video entitled Most Romantic Video Yet) for a veritable smorgasbord of dresses that very few of us could hope to pull off but it makes for a nice 'if only' moment.

Have never worn it to a formal event, but have attended two formal events at CD conferences. (Last one was 7 years ago, too old to "do" any more) A browse through my public photos will provide details of those events and dresses.
Both items came from "one of those" Asian formal wear suppliers, i got lucky with sizing and delivery.
