Hello,
I am new to the site new to fully embracing my feminine side. I have no idea where to start with developing my look, Like what style wigs would go with my face shape, make up, and the likes. I have done some shopping and have an idea of what dresses I like, but putting it all together and looking fabulous is a learned skill that I need help with. Are there any ladies local to the San Francisco Bay Area that would be willing to assist me with selecting a wig and developing my look. Taking on a little sister so to speak.

For hairstyles/wigs and makeup, you can get a good idea from the YouCam app.
It's very limited, especially with the choice of hairstyles, but you get a ballpark idea of what works with your face and what doesn't.
Same with the makeup - you can try various lip colours, eye makeup, foundation and even contouring, which will give you a great start - or something to take to a MUA and ask for something in that range.
As for clothes, my approach is to dress how you feel.
Get a selection of items you really love, look at yourself in a full length mirror, take pictures and review them, and don't be afraid of your own worst critic (you!) - only you can find your own look!
Time after time, when I've put on something and just got the "yes" feeling, I've had positive feedback.
When I've not been so sure, the feedback has not been forthcoming.
Hence I will try several outfits before I decide - and now fully understand why it takes women so long to get ready to go out sometimes...
Dressing is self expression. My advice is not to let anyone tell you how to!

Welcome! You’re in a great place to get the advice and help that you’re looking for, and I’m so glad that you found CDH. I’m not in the SF area, in fact I’m all the way on the other coast, near Philly, so I can’t be of any in-person help to you but am glad to share what little I know with you!
Might I suggest you use the ‘find friends’ feature of the site to locate gals in the SF area? I just did it and there are tons of hits. Use the ‘Social’ tab at the top of the page, then the “Find Friends” choice all the way at the bottom of the list, and then when that screen pops up scroll a little way down and there are 4 different entry boxes to use to search - use the last one for location and just type San Francisco in that box (leave the other 3 boxes blank) and hit search. Give it a minute to updated and then keep scrolling down on any you’ll see everyone in SF and I think they are listed in the order of who was on CDH most recently listed first. Check their profiles and if you find some that resonate with you - shoot them a private message. Hope that helps!
