Hi girls ,

I've been shaving my legs and other private part with razor but when hair starts growing again it feels very manly and those little hairs hurts . Actually I've heard about Veet cream but not used yet. Do you girls think it can work or anyone have best alternative as I'm tired of using razor.

I have tried Veet and similar products in addition to shaving.  In some areas my skin reacts to the chemicals and I break out in a rash.  Veet seems to work fine on the front of my legs, for instance, but causes itchy little bumps on my calves, go figure.  I also think I may be developing some sensitivity to the chemicals so that the areas where my skin reacts seems to be larger that when I first used the product.

Try it on a small area first per the directions on the bottle and see if you have a reaction before using the product on more of your body.  Also, don't let the cream stay on any longer than the directions say.  Even only a couple minutes longer can increase the chances for a bad reaction.  We walk a fine line between dissolving/detaching the hair and chemically burning our skin when we use these products.

Good Luck!

Hi girls I just typed a whole page on this subject and it went mysteriously swayed. Bottom line get it first under control then Nair once a week. Wish you could have read first comments.  Hugs Sandy.

Hi Shreya , I've tried several creams on my pubic area , the only one with success has been Marzena hair removal cream. 💋 Tiff

Been shaving my privates since my vasectomy.  It's nice to feel smooth.  I would recommend caution with the VEET or other chemical products.  They can mess up your private area something fierce. For legs, pits, chest, back, its good, but for the "bits" it is not.  In my experience you just have to shave those.

Hmm, so I've to use razor only for pits. No other option.

If your ever going to have electrolysis done, do not use creams or waxing!! It has an effect on the hair that causes difficulty per my electrolysis tech at Sanza Pelo Med Spa, Phoenix, Arizona. I have used regular and electric razors before I did electrolysis.

I tried Nair once but I have sensitive skin and it left me with a rash so I still just stick with a razor when I shave my legs. I have heard that other creams work well though but I am too scared to try them.

Hi girl,

I think Veet would be the better option. I've heard from many girls that they feel comfortable using Veet.
