Just curious if any one ever saw these and/or tried them? Wondering if you could breath with one on? How hot would you get under the mask? Is it worth the money to possible be more passable? Do they really work or just a sales gimmick?
Not sure what I think about them. Just saw them on a website and on some YouTube videos. Some look fake and a few look pretty good on the person showing them. It is interesting none the less.
No, I don't think that i would put out several hundred dollars for a mask that would possible restrict breathing and you would burn up with it on in the Deep South USA. I am just curious what others think.

Very Hot, not comfortable, I checked a couple out and was not impressed with what I saw. There is always someone out there who wants to sell femininity to a CDer and it usually doesn't work as described. The face masks I saw looked very fake unless you are a make up/silicone artist so you can tweek them into maybe looking somewhat real, in the dark!
yeah as tempting as it might be to try to turn into a girl Mission Impossible style, the ones I've seen look super fake even in the ads, which is never a good sign. If you have to put a ton of makeup on it, you might as well put makeup on your own face! It will be much more comfortable and you'll get better results once you get good at it.
Hi Jennifer,
The masks I've seen look super fake to me.
I guess if you feel there is no hope for you this is an alternative.
Although the ones I've seen I think were latex and I would say they would be hot to wear.

I have seen these but don't think they are for me for a number of reasons.
- Price, they are expensive, the good ones are extremely expensive!
- Comfort, I can't imagine they can be comfortable
- Authenticity, when I finally step out I want to do it as me. Ok, I'll use makeup and maybe padding to bring out my best feminine features and modify my figure, but to me a mask would be hiding me and I would not feel authentic.
A few weeks ago I posted about beards and and my reluctance to shave mine, a member responded suggesting using a mask to cover a beard. I can see that if a beard is important to your male self and you can't, or don't want to sacrifice it for your femme side a mask would be a good option. Most of my beard is now gone, just a goatee and mustache left and that's getting shorter every day...
Jennifer,
I have used a full head mask for over two years and enjoy it tremendously! Yes, it can be hot in the summer time, but the one I have is very lifelike and most people don't realize it's a mask until they are literally in my face and can see the edges around the eyes.
You can see me in my mask on you tube; just search for "Leah's Musings" where I post useful tidbits about cross dressing.
I can send you specific info on which mask I own through private message if you like. They are not cheap, though; we are talking 700 dollars and up depending on model and features.
The mask is a compromise with my wife for her support of my dressing. I have a full beard in guy mode and my wife does not want me to shave it, thus the mask. Also, it takes about 20 years off my real age and that's a bonus!
Message me if you want more details!

I think I'd be uncomfortably hot most times of the year. More importantly, a mask is counter to how I want to live my life - as authentically as I can.

I have never tried that and probably never will after the breast plate I bought. It makes me sweat a whole lot and makes my skin really itchy after I have been wearing it for a while.
That said, I'm sure the sweat that would come from one of those whole body female forms might bring about a little weight loss.
Celeste,
Have you checked out my you tube videos? (search for Leah's Musings)
I agree there are a number of masks on the market that don't look very natural, but mine is the closest thing to real that exists today. I've been out and about quite a bit in it and the majority of people don't even realize it's a mask. There are those that are sharp eyed and can notice a difference, but the majority of folks I've encountered don't notice.
I've been in a bank in my mask before, making a deposit and the teller didn't flinch.
Still, I do appreciate the caution; always a good thing to be aware of!

Thanks Leah.. personally I love makeup and can disguise myself pretty well, but I’ve always been fascinated by masks and will probably try it one day.

There was a member of another forum that would only go out wearing a mask. It was accompanied by all sorts of padding to create an hourglass figure. I think the thought process was that there was no way to be considered remotely passable...
