Getting Joanna ready to face the world takes me about an hour. I don’t have a large wardrobe, so it’s mainly makeup. And redoing the eye liner when it goes wrong! 🫢

A lot for me depends on what I am doing. If, like most of the time, I'm just going out for a walk, it takes less than 5 minutes getting dressed, and less than a minute for makeup, since all I put on is a touch of beard cover on my chin and upper lip. The wig covers the sides of my face and has bangs covering my forehead, and sunglasses hide the eyes. If I'm going to do some shopping, I may spend a few more minutes with some concealer around my eyes. It's liquid, so it takes a short while to dry before I can blend the edges in.
If I'm going out for an evening out, it will take me maybe 10-15 minutes for getting dressed, and maybe half an hour for makeup. I put on primer, foundation, concealer, bronzer, and rouge, then powder my face. I spray it with a freeze spray and wait a few minutes. Then I'll go on to do the eyes, and freeze it again.
