Well, yesterday Staci was able to “escape” for the first time in a few months. Nothing extraordinary happened but it was just fun to get out and I have to tell someone about it.
Wifey was gone for a few days, when she left, I told her that when wifey is away, Staci will play!
I had a few errands to run and wanted to do some spring shopping. I did not feel like getting to “glamed” up, so I decided against a dress and went with what I call my “soccer mom” look, cute and casual.
I wore a flowy flowered print top, with ruffled sleeves, black Amanda jeans (love ‘em), black Tieks ballet flats, and of course accessorized with a necklace (borrowed from wifey), and a gold anklet chain. Even put on some neutral colored lipstick. Also carried a small black over the shoulder purse.
One could say that I looked androgynous but I was comfy and happy wearing ALL female clothing. After all, that was the point, right?
I confidently headed out into the world and ran a few errands, did some shopping at Ulta and a local shopping mall where I dropped into a Torrid, Old Navy, Macy’s and a few other stores. I interacted with sales clerks, at Torrid I told that sales gal that I was actually shopping for me. She smiled and said that was wonderful.
In total I was out for about 6 hours, had a wonderful time out as Staci. I got a few double takes, no frowns or comments but did get a lot of smiles, especially from other gals. I wonder what they were thinking.
Wifey comes back tonight, Staci may get out for a few more hours this afternoon, will see.

Good for you Staci!! What a nice adventure out & about, and a whirlwind of stores. Felt like i was right there with you. I also love the black Amanda jeans, have three pair, never wear my boy ones anymore, except car work etc.
