Summer’s end

Hey Tiff, good to see you again. Even though I’ve never ventured far from my house, I love fall outfits.  I bought a few more this summer, and kind of feel like I may be building to venturing out at some point if I can summon the courage.  Hope all is well with you. Thanx for jumping on the thread here.

Ah yes, but its the start of summer down here in OZ and I'm someone who cant shave off the arm and leg hair.

So autumn/winter/early spring are my friends. And as posted elsewhere an arthritic knee is all I need as an excuse to wear 40 plus denier tights 24/7.

It's starting to get darker sooner here and colder in the mornings,  for sure a sign that it will be time to start shaving my legs for the season.  At least I have started keeping my toenails painted pretty much all the time now so that kinda keeps me going as well.

I can empathize with the shaving. Sorry about the arthritic knee, my wife has one as well, I guess there’s just no getting around having to wear hose with it ha ha. Thanks for responding

After I ended up in the hospital with a broken leg and everyone saw them I just decided life is too short to not do what I want.

If one thing life affirming events  are good for, even if they are relatively minor so to speak, it’s affirming other life events.  Got a favorite color choice?  I’m partial to a deep red wine almost burgundy type color myself, when i’m Able to do it of course.

this summer did mark my return to crossdressing after a roughly 8 year break.  so that's something for me to make note of! 🙂

Yes I love bright reds and wines as well.  I also love the look of sparkly ones as well but I have having to try and get them off.  Plus the coverage on some of the sparkling ones is really hard to get right.

Due to this morning feeling a tad chilly, I finally put my kimono dressing gown to one side and donned my new very snug pink fleecy dressing gown this morning.  Ooh, it was lovely and warm!  I do like Autumn.

Nice, the best I could muster a few nights ago were my black leggings fluffy socks, white cami , and large sweater.  Comfy for sure.  Yours sounds better though😁

I can offer a few congratulations, one on being able resist for 8 yrs, that is a will power I do not have, the other is i’m Sure the feeling you have after returning.  Absence makes the heart grow fonder as they say.  I know I always enjoy returning after just a summer off.

Glad i’m Not the only one that has trouble with those sparkly ones. If i’m being honest the once or twice i’ve tried them, I have usually stripped them off quickly in disgust.

yes, it's a funny, strange, and wonderful thing all at once.

i did my purge several years ago and really, jenny just went dormant.   my dressing has always been tied closely to my sex/romantic life (long story), rather than being an identity issue, or at least i don't think of it as an identity issue.   so perhaps that made it easier to give up? i don't know.

while i had flashes of it over the years, especially when seeing lingerie or a fashion show or something like that, i was triggered this summer by an encounter i had with a gorgeous CD.  everything flooded back from there! 🙂

I heard the same from a friend in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Makes me glad to be in SW Texas.
