Hi to all the lovely ladies on CDH.
Do any of you watch the television shopping channels in your area??? Most of the products on them do not interest me, (model hot cars anyone??). But when they do ladies fashion I always have a peek. Jewellery too tho a/. its usually out of my price range,
When I see one brand come up that suits "mature ladies" like me, I always pay attention and in fact, just bought my first dress from this source.
Its called a "garden party dress", but I dont have a garden party to attend!!
And at least with this brand they run true to size. Why oh why do female clothes have so much sizing variation??. I get interested when something nice in an 18 comes up only to find its too small for me, especially in the bust.
My favorite time is when a suitable program comes up when I am away from home on overnight charity volunteer trips. Why? Cos when the models come out to show off a particular fashion piece, skirt, pant, dress etc and parade up and down the catwalk in their heels or strike a pose, I stand in front of the screen and do exactly the same thing.

Yes, I do watch the odd shopping channel...usually mornings when catching up on cdh. One thing I do like is that they use " everyday" girls to model the clothes instead of super models....much more realistic....
I rarely buy from them, although I do get ideas and tips. There is a channel called QVC.....which I guess is named after the bill you can run up....Quickly Very Costly.
Again it's good for ideas, but there's always similar but much less expensive alternatives elsewhere!!!.

My wife watches them all the time, and does a lot of her shopping there, as even before covid, its difficult for her to do in person shopping( even though every where is wheelchair friendly, not really), so I do watch them somewhat.
It's a great place for ideas, and our channel uses all real women, no super babes,lol

Honestly I have to confess I've never had any interest in that channel. Anytime I've flipped past there has been nothing that took my fancy.

I have watched them several times before, but have never bought anything from them. I use them mainly for ideas to look for locally. Too many items over priced, and from what I have heard, exchanges and returns are not that simple with them.

No. To me it is like looking through a catalog, but someone else is turning the pages and telling you what to look at, and spending 10 minutes describing the virtues of that item before moving to the next. At least online, I can look at what they have, and if nothing interests me, I can move on quickly within the site or to another site.
