Girls, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for the lovely messages about my featured status. I struggle a bit with this whole business so to read the kind and supportive messages I've received just makes my heart sing. Love you all.
I'm in beautiful Cornwall with my family for the next couple of weeks and Internet is sporadic but I'll try to stay in touch.

The makeover is only a month away now Chrissie - close enough that it's actually starting to impinge on my consciousness 🙂
I've got another two and a half weeks of school to get through first. Then it's the start of (early) retirement; the end of 30 years of teaching and the beginning of (hopefully) at least the same number of years of painting and writing.
The July makeover is one of my treats to myself, to mark this new chapter of my life.
I've always said that I would also colour my hair (a suitable shade of 'No More Grey' has already been purchased) and splash out on a bottle of Mitsouko by Guerlain. The perfume arrives on Tuesday 🙂

Ellie, it's lovely that you have a clear picture of what retirement looks like. I can't draw for toffee. I do have my music, playing in a few local bands, so that takes care of the evenings. I'm a night bird. Don't do much during the day though 😂 xx.
