Hi to all on CDH,
I'm not much into all this social media stuff. eg. Not on Facebook etc and never will be.
So the idea of being on here and all the" thanks", I have received for my posts gives me a certain sense of irony.
So now that I've passed "2,500 thanks". I just wanted to say "thanks to all the thank-ers"
If anyone reads this and adds thanks, I guess we will be in some kind of "perpetual thanking motion"

I was at another site for a while. It did not have "thanks" or "likes." It made one wonder if anyone read your post, let alone if they liked it. It felt rather cold and isolated. Needless to say, I left. I like this system much better.

Now for the translations... but some Aussie words are right out of fashion..
"grouse" =good
"Ta"=thanks
Shelia=old now almost offensive word for woman.
2 bobs= 20 cents worth=contribution
"It's all dahn to you"=your fault.
My head hurts after all that.. Think I need to "rip the lid off a tinnie"=Open a can of beer. "(Tho in my case a good Aussie red or white white would go just as well)...
FINALLY.
"Alice Einstein" aka me , hereby proclaims the validity of "perpetual thanking motion". 18 Thank yous and 11 replies validate my claim.
