I've been down in my storage lock up all day, where I keep most of Caty's outer clothes on a "double retail store dress rack". I overloaded one rail and the whole thing just went s....ii...g..h.. and collapsed.
So my first job today was to patch it all up and reload the collapsed rail. This involved much use of duct tape, heavy duty fishing line and anything else I could tie on to it. Not supposed to drill holes anywhere on the walls , but with a bit of "vertical thinking" it's now supported from "on high"
"Trussed up like a stuffed chicken" is not in the race.. First job done.
Second job. There's an office building next door and anyone looking out the windows can see straight into my unit. Thus "curtain required", ,again, out came the fishing line to "string it up" and initially I was gunna use a couple of oversize plastic shopping bags for the curtain. But lo and behold I found a 30 year old beach towel I had forgotten was laying on the floor behind my old guitar amp.
Sadly, its not the one I used to have with the "bikini babe" on it or I would have faced that outwards..........LOL
So curtain in place.. Third job and the main reason I wanted the curtain. Time for Caty's weekly body shave. Luckily the unit has power and fluoro lights. So with the "curtain "in place, I boiled the jug and "did the business". Despite all this faffing about, it does feel lovely to be totally smooth......
Moral to the story, all of you “lucky ducks” out there with a supportive SO, right this minute, go and give her another kiss and big hug and tell her how much you love and appreciate her. The rest of us, with either partners that dont know, or if they do, "dont want to know"as per above, will have to continue being “creative”.
Happy dressing
Caty.
Caty...
I'm single, free as a bird and extremely grateful for what I have and what I can do....
It's never taken for granted....ever.
I am sitting here, and just imagining " "Caty's boudoir"....and it's making me smile.....you SO need a string of pink lights....finishing touches...haha
Grace x
Thank you, Katy, for both the laugh imagining you tying things up, and for the reminder of just how lucky some of us are.
I do and always have, told my SO everyday of our lives together, just how much I love her, and how lucky I truly am to have her But I'll do it an extra time, today, and make sure she knows it is from my sisters, here
Hugs, Regi👸💕
Sincere thanks to all the "thankers" and responders for your comments.
As the old steak knife ads used to say, "yet there is more"!!!
Dear old Melbourne, Victoria, Australia is in its fourth lockdown since the bug started, thanks to slack hotel quarantine in Adelaide. (and they wonder why we poke fun at them??...).
Cos my beloved is a stickler for adhering to the lockdown and was hardly venturing out, Caty was therefore stuck with a big bag of her "intimates" in need of a wash.
But yesterday I thought "my time had come", she said "Supermarket and a walk".
So to our laundry I go... Got it all washed and hung out to dry". a/.panties on two cordless clothes lines in the covered load area of my SUV, b/, Cami's hung on hangers in my wardrobe, bras strung up on a "line" under the workbench in the garage and winter tights...........
PANIC!!! She did not go for the walk. So the tights got aimed where they might dry out, maybe this time next week.
So lucky ducks, "waddle up" to YOUR beloved and give her ANOTHER hug
Caty.
PS In normal times when she is out and I have posted in the past. The wet washing goes on a collapsible clothes airer, down in the "lock up Boudior"
PSS "Ya shoulda seen how I did this in the good old days". 12x9 metre shed, (40x20ft) with 9mx4m "Man Cave" there in. aka when the Boss was away, "Caty's Sheduior". Where she used to go to play... Complete with wood heater. Winter time drying as above.. Leave the woodheater running all night. Perfect. Summer time. rig up "clothes lines "as per above off the side grab rails of my fishing boat and the Shed Wall. Biggish boat and trailer, my So is very petite.. so..
