I hope this is the right place to share this. After careful consideration I have given informed consent to start hormone treatments. I pick up my first prescription tomorrow. So I am feeling excited but nervous at the same time. It's going to be a while to see the effects but in the meantime I get to feel them in the first month or two through emotions and nausea. Oh boy!
Independently if it is the right place or not, all my best wishes an good luck this new stage in your journey!

Out of interest, are you doing pills or injections? There's a chance that one day I'll make that step so it would be nice to know what option other girls have gone for.

I will be using neither injections or pills except for the anti-androgen blocker. Instead I am using trans dermal patches which are stuck on like bandages and need to be replaced every three days. It is supposedly safer than pills and I am not one to inject myself with any kind of needle. Starting slowly and increasing the estrogen dose monthly. Don't know what the final effects will be. I am told everyone is different when it comes to effects.
