As some of you know, I've only been actively embracing my female side for a few months but I'm already starting to feel so much better. As well as the feeling of absolute bliss when I'm dressed up, I'm taking more care of my skin now with a regular moisturising routine - already seeing improvements. I'm paying a lot more attention to my face as far as hair goes - closer shaving, trimming nasal and ear hairs and plucking and trimming eye brows. I'm watching what I eat now and cutting portion sizes down - I seem to have gained a little in the belly area during lockdown. Just small things but they add up and it's improving my general appearance. So whatever triggered this sudden change in my life - thank you.
Also I'd like to say a big thank you to all you lovely girls for your kindness and lovely comments.

Hugs xx

Rachael.

I find trying to live a more refined, wellness-centric life is definitely good for my spirits. That in itself is not inherently feminine. It is good sense, and I don’t know what took me so long to get there. The femininity comes into play with all of the other things we do to emulate the woman we want to be. What that is differs a little for some, but it feels so right for me. I sometimes wonder why I wasn’t just born a girl, but then I realize that I wouldn’t likely appreciate all of the feminine things that I long for so much now. And I don’t have to put up with some of the body issues and societal issues that GGs do, which I don’t have the fortitude to handle. GGs are tough and endure a lot of pain we can’t fathom. So, in sum, heck yeah! Enjoy being the best girl you can be, and keep up the good work! It’s a wonderful thing.

Hi Rachael.

Welcome to our world....there are lots of trials and tribulations for lots of girls on here....

but like you have mentioned, look at all the plusses. There is always so much you can do apart from just dress, regarding diet, skincare and general well-being.

Some of us are obviously more able to do things more openly than others, I could be ironing a dress or sewing on a skirt button or a night of pampering with a face mask or treating my toenails to some colour !!!.....and it all brightens my life, physically and just as importantly to me....mentally....

there really is so much more to crossdressing than just....... dressing!!!.....

even if you have to grab moments when you can

Best wishes, grace x

Hi Rachel,

Since joining Cdh.
I find I am doing the same moisturising my hands and feet to keep them nice and soft, so I don't pull my tights when I put them on and it has worked.
I also find I am taking care of my self better, Cdh has lifted my confidence immensely.
Not just with My Femme side , it makes me feel so much more happy through the day.
Having you Girls and Cdh in my life now has made such a difference.
Being able to be Mikala and not have to keep her thoughts to myself but being able to share is wonderful.

Mikala xxxx.

Hi Rachel, I so agree!
Since I joined here, and accepted myself, I too moisturize everywhere, My wife and I do our faces together at bedtime,, and I carry Regine throughout the day. It has made me such a better person, overall, and that is reflected in everything I do, and feel.
I have to say, CDH is in the top 3 things that have happened in my life, Having my children, and marrying my wife are the first two, ) Thank you all,
Loving hugs, Regi👸💕

Hi Grace

I am in the very fortunate position - as far as dressing up goes - of being single so I can shave my legs, paint my nails and pamper myself all day if I like. Even if I only do one thing each day it keeps me focused and I feel that I've achieved something. And at my age there's always something I can try to improve 🙂

Hi Beth

Some wise words there, thank you. I probably am guilty of neglecting myself a little in the past - being single and not seeing friends or going out during lockdown I kind of took of my eye off the ball as far as my general health and wellbeing is concerned. I now feel a lot more focused on many aspects and it is having a positive effect. This has happened just at the right time for me and it gives me something to aim for.

Rachael,

How true dressing is more than dressing. For myself it helps manage my stress level. Who isn't stressed these days. I have found when I dress at home, just in bras, forms, panties and ladies outerwear my attitude and personality changes. I can tell when Tiffany is home and I talk to my wife it's different then when 'I'm' home. It also changed my habits. I too am moisturizing, body shaving and trying so hard to change my eating habits. That is the most difficult thing to change. Too much time in male mode.

It's so nice to slip into something comfortable for the evening, evening gown or pajamas and relax.

Good for you. Keep it up.

Tiffany

I neglected myself entirely for 46 years. Just recently have I begun to try to take care of myself. I am dealing with some things now, finding out more tomorrow hopefully. Even after losing 80 lbs, I am concerned about the fallout from years of neglect. Doing my very best for the last 6 months and going forward.
