Hi Ladies!

So I am a cross dresser that doesn’t always wear a wig. Sometimes I like to present feminine except for the hair. Well, this week, I am getting gel extensions and a pedi, getting my lashes done (VOLUME LASHES 💁‍♀️), getting a wax, and getting my brows threaded and tinted. I want to be all Melanie for the next month so I’m going all out 💅 Next week I also have a dentist appointment and I’ll obviously look a little different to the workers there. I am doing all of this without the wig…simply it’s just fun and I don’t mind the looks every now and then.

Does anyone else do this or do you always present fully female when going out? If so, what kinds of things do you like to do when all dressed up? I’m also planning several hikes this month so I have that to look forward to as well!

Melanie,

I may be unique, but I do not normally present as a woman regardless of what I may be wearing.  For me, my clothing preference is not about a desire to be a woman, but rather presenting as the person who I am.

I love and am proud of the man that I am.  I do, however, prefer to wear womenswear especially in a casual setting.  That being said, I openly dress as I wish on a daily basis, and conduct my business as needed. I never wear a wig, and rarely wear makeup.  I also sport a military short haircut and goatee which my wife adores so there is little doubt that I am a man regardless of what I may be wearing.

On the note of being out and about in public, I have only had one negative interaction. In fact, most people are simply respectful and interact as normal.  I also often receive compliments.  I hope this is helpful.

Melanie..

I present fully female, but that does not mean i am against anything else. I have grown to love the diversity here.......what ever floats your boat honey.....

10/10 for .....being you.!!!

I love you do what you want....and to hell with the rest....brave, and it's not for everyone....but well done.

Grace xx

I love to present as all female when I can but for every day wear its panties, bra, and a ponytail. I'm slowly working on presenting every day androgynous with a gaff and female jeans, clear polish on long manicured nails and some pastel female tee shirts and tops. Also considering female scents and a little bit of makeup including clear gloss lipstick. Getting my ears pierced to wear subtle earrings.

Like MacKenzie Alexandra, I don’t present as a woman. I’ve been walking around wearing a skirt with my legs shaved smooth, and I have been buying my tops from the women’s section. But my hair is cut short and I usually have beard shadow by evening. At the moment I don’t even own a wig. And my makeup skills are laughable.
I’m not trying to be a woman. I just prefer women’s clothing. And so far nobody has responded negatively.

Hi Melani Its been a while since i fully dolled up. I enjoy the casual fem look right now. Most all my clothing is is fem wear now. Sometimes i find myself trying to figure out what is less fem when house guest maybe coming over. Just to day I was scurrying to put a outfit together for a brief visit from one of in house therapist we hired to help us with one of the grandchildren. I settled on cute pair of skinny jeans and a white v neck top and my go to strappy sandals no make up my hair was a mess. She came in just as I was walking down stairs I could not believe it she had on a similar outfit just a different color top with same strappy sandals but different color to that matched her top . She did have her nails done a pretty pinkish shell white. I love that color, but we both said nothing about what we were wearing and conducted our business and she left. I took as no big deal. I can only imagine the stories she shares with other therapist when they get together. I am not sure if the use the term cross dresser but so what if they do.

That is so much me, Steph.....trying to figure out how to tone it down some days! It’s hard when all the tags in all the clothes say, Gloria Vanderbilt, or Liz Claiborne or Vanity Fair........

Sounds fun Melanie! I only happen to present as female in my bedroom right now (with beautiful lingerie) but I have given thought to possibly going out at some point if I decide it's worth it to buy clothes other than lingerie for going out when it would probably be rare if I did go out. If that day comes though I would probably go all out with a wig, makeup, etc. to present fully female.

I dtress nrmally when out and about, in Womens jeans, shorts, tops, and a padded bra and panties.my nails polished(toes fiery red, and fingers soft pink)
But if I am "dressing", i have to have the forms in place, a wig, and usually skirts or dresses.
Either way I am as woman as I can be, and I'm happy.
Hugs, Regine 👸💕

Hi Clara What is interesting can not find any of my man jeans. I must of put them somewhere. Now I am hiding my male stuff so even I cannot find them. My upside world. Just to have one set of clothes again would be so much easier. I am not sure if my wife would like it. She always enjoys a little masculinity around.

It took getting used too. And I’m still nervous about it. But it’s worth it.
My next challenge is wearing something other than a plain grey skirt. A drab color is less noticeable than a floral skirt. And after that I want to get used to denim and miniskirts.
But my confidence is building.

Baby steps. The first one is always the hardest.
