Today marks 3 weeks of me living as Cerys. I did change into man clothes twice after a request from my wife. We had two things to do, and my wife wanted me "as normal". A total of 7 hours over two days. It's become normal. I don't think about it. Doing my face every day is a pain, but other than that, everything is fine. If I wasn't so haggard looking, I could go without doing my face 🙂
We do have a special event on Sunday. A chocolate and cream tea on a steam train with my wife and son. I might have return to man mode for that. I'm loving the freedom. I'm loving discovering different looks every day. Normally, I probably wouldn't try different things, but I can, and I've discovered quite a stylish look that seems to suit me.
As far as I can tell, my wife is OK with me living as Cerys. She hasn't dropped any hints yet. A few mornings I almost went man mode, but when I saw the outfit that I put out the night before, that soon changed 🙂
Cerys is really helping with my confidence, and that has been rock bottom recently. Depression is kicking in, but I see Cerys in the mirror and that lifts me. Cerys is a wonder! Seeing her look back, seeing what I have created and how good I look. How smart I look makes me feel ten feet tall.
One day, soon I hope, I will find work, and Cerys will go back to evenings and weekends. This will be a bittersweet time, but I need to earn. I need to get out and be useful. I need to be amongst people.
Three weeks in, and I haven't got fed up of her yet! 🙂

Finding work - I've been there during the first part of the 2010's. Money challenges led to my divorce. Too bad you can't move from the UK to North Dakota! I found it to be a garden of Eden out there. Oil, trucking, teaching, banking, retailing, government work. If my daughter hadn't spent so much wanting me to get settled here in Wisconsin, I'd go back out there. A day's drive to the Badlands, or Glacier NP, the Rockies, the art galleries in Wyoming. Pretty nice.
