Hey Marcie, I happen to have a boyfriend so I can be of some help here. Most important thing - be yourself! Show him the real you, and he will show you his real side. It will be much easier for him to open up to you if you open up to him. Communication and good conversation is key to building trust as you work to getting to know each other better. Worry less about how girly you are and just be you and the girl will come out naturally. Best of luck and keep us updated!

so an update the date was meh however leading up to the date was the best day ever because I got to spend the entire day dressed and went in public the first time went shopping to a dress shop and then to a full packed department store, and then a nail salon, and had a wonderful time.
