I have finally gathered enough clothing, makeup, and so forth to dress, at least basically.
My ever supportive wife took me through my first makeup session, teaching me and helping where needed.
I have a long way to go, but I was amazed at the transformation, in both my appearance and my feelings! For the first time, I looked in the mirror and saw myself, the real me, and liked the woman looking back at me.
My wife couldn't believe the difference in my appearance as well, she hardly recognized me! 🙂
Thank you for all for being so supportive, and giving me the courage to take this next step on this journey!
I posted a picture to the photos (at least I think I did, still learning this site) that is in que, for anyone who wants to see me at my first attempt!

Well done Dianne. You look really good. Hope you and you wife are able to go out sometime somewhere. I'd suggest have a small picnic at a park when it is not busy, like during a weekday. The intention is to be seen at a distance only, and have some girl talk. That is how I started going out being seen. Don't worry you will 'pass' easily at a distance. In fact by your picture you will pass close up also. It can be such a wonderful time spent that way just as girlfriends.

There's nothing better than a supportive spouse on this road! My wife did my makeup first time too, then once more explaining everything as she went, and I've done it ever since. It'll get easier, and you'll want to try different looks, the wardrobe will grow, you'll go out, oh sorry, getting ahead of the game again. Well done, you! Great picture too.
