Going to pull the plants today. Got hit by hard frost. For November 9th I'm not complaining. Dee
I didn't grow anything this year, but I grew peppers in the past and may do it again next year. I'm no expert at this type of thing because I am a technician by trade, but the year I grew Jalapenos in my back yard, I ended up with the hottest Jalapenos I have ever tasted. No idea how I did that.
Cool... I love Jalapenos. Did not have any this year though... Love the hot peppers here... Dee.
Pulled the last of my peppers and eggplants. Still have some kale that is going strong and hoping to get kale and collard sprouts popping up before winter. Had to bring in my pineapple plants too.
I didn't do much in the way of a garden this year. I did run some planters with strawberries and a couple with Jalapenos, but just enough to keep me supplied. But, now that the docs have all given me the all clear on my cancer tests and things, the next growing season will def keep me busy.
Until I got that news, I just couldn't get enthused to run a garden like I usually do, but it did give my nieces a break from Aunt Paula bringing piles of squash and cucumbers and all that 'healthy' stuff, lol.
