I travelled from California to Pocahontas AR. We had totally clear skies for the entire event. Sadly, I could not dress as Stephanie because I was with family that don't know about her.
@astrosteve In Rochester NY they interviewed a guy who flew all the way in from Alaska, only to be disappointed with overcast no sun or eclipse view, but we still had 5 minutes of darkness and drop in temperature of 5-10 degrees
@meghan47 The "best" shot I got from Rochester was taking a telephoto picture towards the horizon, where you could see the edge of the dark shadow, a strip of intermediate dark grey, and a sunlit light grey to the horizon
