Hi All
As an ex member of Her Majesties Armed forces I saw the Queen on many occasions always with the Duke by her side or several steps behind her. He was totally dedicated to Queen and Country. RIP and God bless you Sir.
Prince Philip...R.I.P.
If anyone could ever be described as someone who put "his whole life into a job"...or maybe " his whole job into his life".this is THAT man!!!
Also known as Phil the Greek, he has kept me amused for so many years because of his " speak your mind attitude"..love him or hate him, you could never ignore him...I would like to add a few of my favourite quotes......
Philly busters!!!!
Speaking at a world wildlife fund gathering in 1993, he asked fashion writer Serena French..." You're not wearing mink knickers, are you"??.
2012...he asked mobility scooter user David Miller " how many people have you knocked over this morning on that thing"??
At a dinner party in 2004...
" Bugger the table plan, give me my dinner"!!!!!
He was once asked whether he knew the Scilly isles.....
" My son....er....owns them"!!!....he replied...
God bless you Sir !!
