The Uk turns the clock back one hour in October. I think it’s tonight!?!
If you had the option of turning back the clock, how far back would you go- and why?

For
My part I’d stay where I was
-
I can only cope when I KNOW what day it is, what the real time is and - just to be sure- who I am!!!!
Moving the daylight affects my body clock!!
By the time I’m sorted, we put them forward again. And you thought YOU had problems!!

Hi Anya we do ours or some of the USA first of month in November Know some states did away with it awhile back or never done.  The falling back seems ok for me but when summer comes and spring forward does wonders on body clock for week or so.  Best wishes for clock changing and body clock.

But think Anya gain a extra hour now to do something extra.  For me if falls on a weekend means a extra hour of dancing at a club.

As a farmer, I hate summertime daylight savings. In the peak, I'm still out working at 9pm.

I'd much rather have it in winter. I get up in the dark / dawning light most days. So its not going to annoy me with a later sunrise.

And yes, it annoys the hell out of my body clock. Here in Australia, some states don't practice it, and it causes problems for border residents, who work across the border.

As a human, I HATE DST! It takes me about two weeks to adjust, twice a year, and when the kids were young, it meant sending them out to meet the school bus while the stars were still twinkling overhead. Ridiculous!

Ha! Anya, I turn back the clock twenty five years every time I dress, letting butterfly Jules fly free!
Hugs!

Come on Anya,

Lol, Pay attention! In the uk the clocks go whatever direction at the *end* of October. I hope yuo're not standing outside the shop for an hour, waiting to buy a pint of milk.

Whatever, for those of us in the northern hemisphere, winter threatens, and our primeval psyches look forward to the winter solstice when we celebrate the sun starting to rise higher in the sky again.

The general consensus now is that DST should be done away with. Most favor moving the clocks up one hour permanently. I don't care which way we move the clocks, just pick a time and leave it there. Quit going back and forth.

I'm all in favour of doing away with the time change. Ours is in a week or two, and I hate it both ways, personally I'm in favour of the DST time, but I agree with a previous poster that to pick a time and stick to it!

Hi Anya....

Grace's theory.......

as our clocks go back 1 hour, in the early hours of the morning, she gets an extra hour in bed.....in panties and perfume, what's wrong with that????

...as for putting them forward in spring, we scrap that entirely...so we actually get an extra hour in bed and an hour younger each year too!!!!🙃🙃🙃

Smiles, grace xx

Marti has just reminded me…. It’s next week.
And if you read this late….. it was last week🤪🤪🤪

Sorry for all of you that leapt out of bed for that church service or meeting or trip with your friends. I also hope you listened, read or sang well well when you arrived and waited an hour because I sent you early.

Ooooooer- some of you might be waiting all week!!!!!!!!
So sorry.

See? Grace has the right idea. If you don’t like it- find a reason for liking it.

Simple really. Thank you Grace, your wisdom rescues clowns like me!
