Hi girls, thanks for all the positive vibes in the other post! This morning I spent some time with makeup, beard cover , foundation, eye shadow, lipstick.. and I was encouraged... just that made a difference and I could see Effie starting to shine through in her face! With my blonde long hair wig on I was like “ oh you go girl” 🤣.
I feel much better and more confident that makeup will transform. Not ready for doing a face pic yet but it’s coming!

That's great! Told you so you needed is practice. You keep that up, you'll get better all the time, and you'll get to the point where you'll say "I'm getting dressed up and going out, just try to stop me", and you'll be rolling. Well done you!

I’m so excited Bridgette! I didn’t think makeup could work miracles but it seems it can LOL...I will keep practicing with the makeup for a while, and then I’m going to make that first step out, driving around and maybe hit up a drive through en femme !

I have several colors of wigs and the one that looks the best on me is the red short bob cut. Its my natural color all though a bit darker. It matches my completion and brows the closest and just looks great. Try going with your natural color.

Now I consistently go out on the weekends as Robyn.
It takes time, but you'll get there.

I tried various wigs closer to my normal, dark hair colour - but my blue-green eyes fight with any colour but blonde.
Think I nailed the darker look with heavy makeup when I wore a Cleopatra costume earlier this year, but it took a lot of contouring and gradients in the eyeshadow.
Blonde just seems to suit my femme persona for some reason.
Gives me a good excuse for being a bit dizzy from time to time!

Laura I have blonde, dark brown, cinnamon red, and the purple fun one.. I might try a black for a goth look with dark eyeshadow and lipstick just for fun.💖❤️

Good for you...make up is so feminine..but it's an art too, especially the application...it is mainly practise and confidence.
I love trying different looks...I have a dozen wigs....so I can be anyone I want to be....
I have spent too many years looking at the same old face in the mirror....never again...
There is not one excuse to be boring anymore!!!
