I have looked long and hard to find something to reflect my Becca persona but anything I do find is way out of my budget. Anything that so nearly spells Becca in a combination of letters and numbers is very expensive indeed.
I have found a couple that might go on my new (to me) car with letters that intimate a cross-dressing lifestyle and won't cost the Earth because they don't actually spell anything. The letters CDR (for Cross-DResser) are available for a modest sum, as are the initials CDH; either of which would be a bit of a private joke between me, my wife and any cross-dressing member of Crossdresser Heaven. I'll have to await the arrival of my registration document, which might take weeks, so I've time yet to decide.
I gather that in the States it is quite easy to have almost anything you like as a personal number plate, within reason. Not so in the UK, where registration numbers are issued by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency and you have to make best use of available numbers. Some numbers are way out there and you'd have to be very rich, or very desperate to want one; for example, the number 6Y, you can buy for £434,000! Yes, really!
I did once see a Porsche 928 with the reg number THE928, which I thought was quite neat; probably cost a small fortune though. An erotic author (one Fiona Richmond) from the seventies was sometimes to be seen driving a yellow E-Type Jag with the number FU2 on it, presumably bought for her by Bob Guccione or Paul Raymond.

Hi Becca,
Good luck getting a personalized plate for your new to you vehicle. In the US one can request a personalized license plate. Last I looked the annual fee is about $150 annually but the fee may vary state to state. And a registration fee is added on. Before you can get the personalized plate the request is reviewed and approved or rejected. So no profanity is permitted. I’m not sure if you get your fee returned if the number/letters are rejected.

Personalised plates in North Carolina seem to be fairly cheap, about $30, although I have no idea of the ongoing cost of yearly renewal & registration fees. Our plates have to be 8 characters, so as long as you can make something up and it passes scrutiny by the DMV, it seems you can have what you like. I see a lot of them when I am out and about, and this one made me chuckle. Taken from my dashcam.
Oops... I forgot, no links to my external sites. 🙁 I removed my video.
I put it on your wall.
I'd not have one to avoid extra attention. My previous 2 cars' plate matched my initials which was a pure coincidence, but I would not do this deliberately.
My Victoria Australia plate was a fund raiser to assist in building a replica of the first sailing ship to come into establish Melbourne.aka topsail schooner Enterprize. It only went to 500 total, so it's "E" for Enterprize and then 3 numbers that denote my year and month of birth.
My mother used to make up sayings from the first 3 plate letters. EG her's and my first car was her ex Morris Minor with the plate "GHL" Since she's never had a car before that was "Good High Living". She later had a small Datsun 2 door 1200. JTD "Just Too Ducky" as in cute.

PS There are plates in this state with the letters CLR, (Catherine Louise Ryan). But I'm happy with the plates above and these would cause a LOT of trouble trying to explain it all
