Whenever I've been to a medical appt in the past I have always gone in male underwear drab. I have several "regulars" where I have had to undress and have not "indulged" my femininity by wearing a cami, panties and bra, (or in this case bralette) I take the view that they dont need to know, so why "own up"
Along with a very good CD friend we have often discussed how nice it is to drive when dressed or if needs me in male drab, but with a bra on and forms in place
I recently had the need to drive some 60k's/35miles to a former chiropractor, to help me with my ongoing lower back problem. Such an opportunity was not to be missed, so in leaving home I inserted my forms and enjoyed the drive as described above.
I could not remember whether he sued to treat me with shirt on or off and of course it was "shirt off". So I calmly looked him in the eye, told him I was a CD. He just looked at me, felt the silk material in my cami, said "nice" and went about his business..
Reversed the process for the drive home and was quite happy to have done so.
I'm now off to see a local chiro in male unsdiues, but tonight in bed, back to being gthe ":real me"

@ryanpaul I do not own any male underwear, so I always wear panties to my doctor’s appointments. I’m not THAT brave though, I wear only plain beige or black panties. 
@ryanpaul Good for you, Cathy. I have been going to all appointments as Cassie for about a year now. I started out 4 years ago after I had knee surgery, that was the last time I wore male underwear, partly because I spent 2 weeks at my daughter's place. A year later when I had hernia surgery I wore white panties. Now for about a year and a half I wore women's clothes ALMOST all the time outside work. Now have moved to presenting as female ALL the time outside of work. People don't care.

I underdress every chance I get with doctors or other situations where underwear would be expected to be seen. Very reinforcing of myself as a CD. I don’t own men’s underwear because wearing it in any situation is offensive to my acceptance of myself.
Last week I went in pink panties and pink cami to my dermatology appt. You strip to your underwear and put on the paper robe and the pretty female doctor comes in. She does the exam and moves both pieces of lingerie to do it. The paper robe wouldn’t stay up so the cami was showing most of the time. She had a male nurse with her, 20s?, so that was different but he saw what he saw. I felt so proud of myself.
Then yesterday I had a colonoscopy (yuck but better than cancer). Wore sweatpants, t-shirt, panties and socks. They had me strip to just socks so my pink pantie ls were sitting on my pile of clothes to be seen (and they were seen by two female nurses, the anesthesiologist (female) and the GI doctor (male).
what’s a girl to do when she doesn’t own male underwear? 
Hearing the dr reactions in this thread I think we must be old news to them. Generally older men suddenly showing up in subtle or in-your-face lingerie to appts. Nothing inappropriate involved. I’d love to know how many of their male patients get up the courage to underdress with them. Does anyone fully dress to a dr appt?
I don't push crossdressing when I go to doctors.
However, I am thinking of underdressing and wearing stockings and my new Mary-Jane shoes when I go to my next dental check-up. That's at the other end of the body, so... I am sure that this will get noticed.
Well take that off your bucket list Caty. I’ve come out to my female doctor as suggested by my counsellor. But I did a couple of appointments while underdressed a few times , one with a specialist and once for some tests. I was in panties, bralette, camisole and pantyhose for the specialist appointment and once inside his office I realized what I had done and the nerves started going when I realized I might have to remove my shirt. All was good as he didn’t ask me to remove it. Another time I was having an ekg and had to remove my shirt so I took off my bralette but the tell tale bra strap marks were very visible but the tech never said a word.
I too have underdressed for a Dr's. appointment but I am considering full me today for a test. Just getting the mind right and see what happens.

I would be too scared if judgment. I used to go for drives in the evening while underdressed. I would wear my matching purple set of bra and panties stuffed with my birdseed forms and nylons. Some nights I would wear a button up shirt so that I could be risqué by undoing the buttons and feeling "free".

@tiffany8 Interesting! Out of curiosity, I searched for instructions on how to make my own forms and found a helpful page on Glamour Boutique, an American company that sells gel breast forms.
Rice & stockings are no problem, but other fillers would have to be found. Some instructions suggest using breast molds, to shape the home-made gel forms. That seems to be a problem. There are baking breast molds, but they seem to have mixed reviews even for baking, and who knows what real size they are.
Can anyone suggest where to find good molds?
If I have a dr's appt I typically do not under dress as I have known this female dr for over 20 yrs and not quite willing to share this side of me to her, I did recently have a mammogram in which I had a bralette/Cami on and she asked me to remove my shirt...and she stayed n the room.. I was able to remove it all without her noticing anything, or so that is my story. Afterwards when I had to put my shirt and bralette/cami back on...that was not happening...
If she saw or noticed anything, including my strap marks, she did not say a word.
if you were having a mammogram to determine Gynocomastia, you now have a perfectly valid reason (if you needed one) to justify wearing a bra / bralette to future doctors appointments .
We're just clients/patients who pay money for a service. If your check is good...
Ok, I decided to go for it. I am in the lobby dressed as Karynn and just getting the pulse lowered a bit for the nerves for doing this. Here goes!!!
@karynn I hope you were able to relax, otherwise your blood pressure will be through the roof.
@karynn I think you made the right decision…although your blood pressure might be a bit elevated as a result of the understandable case of nerves.
I don’t think anything really surprises or offends health care professionals, but I do think we show courtesy and candor by presenting fully as women.
@kdahlenbergen after chatting with receptionist for a couple minutes, I was completely relaxed. Just a couple girls having a nice chat. So nice just being me!

I just wear plain bikini panties to all appointments. They are bland and look enough like men's briefs that it doesn't matter. The other issue is I have a well define bikini bottom tan line, so it really doesn't matter if I wear pants or not😁
I never go out in public en femme, but I do underdress sometimes. I was seeing a few new doctors this week and played with the idea of underdressing with the hopes of being asked to remove some clothing. I must have been feeling an exhibitionist inclination. In the end, I failed to do so; I went all in drab. Someday I will dare to venture.

Good for you. I haven't been brave enough to underdress for a Dr appointment yet, however, I did go to a dermatology appointment with my legs shaved and my toes painted pink. Needless to say I had to strip down to my underwear to be examined. Both the nurse and PA were good about it. The nurse even complimented the color on my toes. I was nervous but didn't need to be.

@cdsue I am so excited about my dental appointment next month I’m already trying to decide which bra and tshirt I’m going to wear. I want the hygienist and female dentist both to know that I’m underdressed. Of course I’ll have a thong also!

Hello all.
I undressed for a year, getting bolder and bolder. My spouse didnt approve so I stopped and purged.
Then she purged me. Oh well. Now I cry about the beautiful jewelry and shoes that I no longer have.
I have been back to underdressing about 2 to three times a week. I even wear breast forms. At first just small ones, hardly noticeable, now I sport D 's
Barely able to keep them from obviously jiggling when I walk.
I had some blood test and had to take off my hoodie. Normally I just roll up m sleeves, but not that day. I was told to take off my outer garment and with that, the output of my breasts were unmistakable. The woman taking my blood just smiled and said" nice!"
