Valentines Day

Just the customary exchange of chocolates.......I’m a fan of truffles and if my Valentine is really nice, she’ll include a not-so-healthy dose of dark chocolate sea salt caramels.  I suspect I’ll need to be loosening the laces on my corset......

Hi Katey, we aren't doing anything strange nor exciting. Just an exchange of cards, I did get her some plain milk chocolates which are her favourite, and we're ordering Chinese take-out (which saves me from a night of cooking and makes for great leftovers).  Being married for over 30 years, we've have well established traditions.  But since the stores have lovely red lingerie this time of year, I did buy myself a nice red lace panty/bralette set.  I think I'll wear those for Valentine's Day.  Stay healthy, Hugs, Krista.

Have a nice valentine dinner with a guy met taking me out. Feeling a big deep connection with him recently.

I was asked out for the evening but we are in lockdown.

But he has made plans for us in early march.

Can't wait.

Due to my crazy levels of cooking skills ... off the bottom end hehe I've pre-ordered a 5 course Valentines meal from one of our favourite restaurants that's doing collections/deliveries in the current situation.

Decided it probably wasn't the best weekend to drop in the conversation "oh btw honey, I love wearing women's clothes" giggles.

However, when I was buying her presents I did treat myself to a new sweater dress at the same time 🙂

I never really cared for Valentine’s Day because I need more than a single day to show my love for her and I don’t care for the commercialization. I tend to find wildflowers when in season on a regular basis and like to surprise her with a bouquet. I will often find something that I think she would like including a bouquet and just get it for her. Since our anniversary is at the end of January, I bought flowers and a card, cooked dinner for her, and I dressed for the bedroom in her favorite fantasy outfit. We are expecting a winter storm that rarely happens in our part of Texas on Valentines Day so we won’t be going anywhere for a couple of days. She knows how I feel about Valentines, but I might just surprise her since she won’t be expecting anything and we could both enjoy something different from the boredom of the pandemic isolation....
