Wardrobe malfunction this morning!
I walked behind a car to cross the road, and the exhaust pipe spat out wet black stuff over my nude tone tights (pantyhose) 😭!
Maybe I’ll carry a spare pair in my bag from now on.
@harriette I’d guess it was condensation from a cold engine, picking up soot deposits in the pipe, and all blown out when the woman driving revved the engine. Anyhow, she absolutely blasted my legs with her exhaust fumes! 😭

So sorry this happened to you. Highly recommend a spare pair of tights, tissues to wipe the yuk off, and some alcohol-based cleanser.

@orcharddwee I could have got angry, but that might have attracted unwelcome attention, and in the final analysis, I would still have had a soot-spattered leg! Thank goodness for wet wipes. 😀
@joannat It's best that you kept a cool head. You never know who's recording you these days so it would've made a bad morning worse if a video of you in soiled tights yelling at people went viral. I have noticed people do watch me more closely dressed en femme than when I'm dressed en slob. Be careful out there ladies, and always keep your composure.
@joannat I was fully dressed late one evening and went to the car wash to clean my car. As I was out drying it off one of my breastforms fell out of my top as I was bent over. It hit the ground and I started laughing and quickly picked it up and put it in car. Not sure if anyone noticed as there was others around but oh well.

@joannat Oh that's an awful thing to have happen to you, so sorry to hear about this. I do hope it was nothing deliberate on the driver's part.

Just goes to show that s**t happens to everybody once in a while.

Sorry to hear about that experience. At least you were able to clean it up with wet wipes. Be thankful it was a pair of pantyhose (tights) rather than a white or light colored dress, skirt or slacks - that would have been horrendous.

@cdsue Agreed! Tights/pantyhose are easily replaced. I hate to think of this happening if I had had my white skinny jeans on!
