Ladies,
@lauralovett started an interesting and funny thread about what wearing certain things mean as a crossdresser.
In light of that, I Was wondering how many of you who are married wear an engagement/wedding ring set on your finger like our wives do? Doesn't necessarily have to be an actual diamond or anything but something sparkly and big and more elaborate than the plain band we married men tend to wear? A signal to admirers out there -- male or female -- that we are taken? (Now I'm not suggesting that seeing me dressed would inspire any admirers -- I doubt that -- but you never know. I've had 2 truckers honk at me when I was on the road! Lol).
My wife did that for me a long time ago. Bought a simple ring with sparkly glass in it that I put on in conjunction with my regular band. It was very touching and meaningful to me. And it motivated me to grow and paint my nails on those occasions when I got to dress. I found myself staring at it just like a girl! Lol.
God bless,
Steph
I have a nice silver ring with two small pieces of turquoise in a kind of wrap around design which I wear in lieu of a traditional wedding band because it could be interpreted as a couple's ring for that purpose. It isn't an expensive item, I bought it in a thrift store in town for something like $20-25, but it looks nice and authentic.
Not that it has stopped me from being hit on a few times. I think being out and about en femme one has to take that kind of attention from time to time.

my wife doesn’t like wearing rings much, so her rings stay tucked in a drawer most of the time. Last night we were talking and she made a comment that maybe we should take the diamond and have it reset into a ring for me. Part of me is intrigued by the idea.
Yes, for our anniversary, my SO supprised me with a very femme diamond wedding band to replace my plain old traditional silver one. Her logic was, as Didi is a big part of our life now, she wanted to acknowledge her as being part of our marriage.
Oh and she knows I'm a high maintenance girl that loves anything bling 😘
I wear it permanently now, even in my drabs which raises a few eyebrows.

I have a ring that cost about £2 on Amazon, and it looks really similar to my wife's engagement ring, costing quite a lot more...
In my experience, it doesn't stop anyone, male or female from trying it on if that's how they're wired.
Fortunately, a gentle reminder of the 6'4" man is enough to dissuade most men, but the women are a real challenge...
Love Laura.
I have a engagement/wedding band set that I wear all the time. My wife gave it to me when we had a small private ceremony with some close friends. It wasn't a legal ceremony with a minister or anything, we just pledged our love and she declared that from that point on I was her wife.
Hi sisters...
I can’t comment directly on this as I lost my wedding band ages ago! However, I am getting married again... to my wife later this year! I cannot, in all conscience, wear white but I will be wearing something cool and in vogue!
That I shall have another wedding band in really a no-brainer but what to get! It will have to be custom made that’s sure. Whatever I get I will wear it for the rest of my life... and heave help me if I lose it again!

Dear Jennifer, did both of you wear wedding dresses?
We both wore dresses but unfortunately not wedding dresses. I would have loved wearing a wedding dress but we decided to just keep it simple. I was just pleased that she announced publicly I was her wife.
That is so sweet, Jennifer! We’re going to have a small gathering ourselves but I would like so much we could both wear something epic! My wife has a vintage Dior gown in navy blue velvet and I am still searching...
I wear my male wedding ring separate from Wendy's wedding ring.
The male one is a ring from Tiffany. It used to fit but now it is slightly too big, and since I am home most of the time I don't wear it around the house.
But when dressed as Wendy, I bought a $10 wedding ring/engagement band from Walmart and wear that often.
Yes! I bought a wedding ring set at Walmart for $10. I have been hit on a few times by men so it comes in handy. I think it also helps me pass and makes my hands look more feminine. Love looking at my nails and the feminine jewelry.
I rarely wear my wedding band as I work with my hands and it is hazardous. However, I have a nice cubic zirconia ladies ring I wear when I am dressed. Always. I wear it by far, more than my male wedding band.
I am single but do wear at times a cheap engagement ring which helps me be more passable and avoid unwanted advances when out shopping
I am one of those girls that will wear 2 or 3 rings on each hand when I get dressed for a night out. I do have a couple of simple bands that I can wear on my ring finger. In the past, I have worn a sort of promise/engagement ring for two men that I was getting very serious with, one has a very beautiful 1/2c diamond on it. That one is for special occasions only though.
One of my CD friends is married and her wife gave her a nice, low end wedding set to wear when she/they go out, which is pretty special in my eyes for her to have done.
Though I wear the whole assortment of jewelry as Paula, rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets and watches and have a very large collection to choose from, the Ol' Grumpy side of me wears no jewelry except for a wrist watch.
