Now girls I'm sure those of you still blessed with you hair (sorry if you are not) love to try and make it look wonderful I know I do. However I have always struggled making actual styles so I end up straightening or blow drying with curl cream in any attempt to get a more famine style. Now this sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't.
Now for the first time in a long time I tried using rollers again today. I've always failed miserably when using them but today may well have been break through day. It worked and my hair, oh my hair it looked amazing. My smile went from ear to ear when I took them out and I had all these defined curls in my hair giving me loads of volume and just in general making me look lovely. I was over joyed.
Please tell me others have had similar experiences as it was so lovely to have this thing I thought I was rubbish at actually work and work well.
Love Charlotte Xxx.
When I was 17, I began wearing pantyhose, short girls shorts and platform wedges in public. I had longish hair and took on an androgynous look where it seemed I was often seen as a girl.
When I began dressing fully fem at 18; I wore wigs. I actually cut my hair shorter so it would fit under the wig or wig cap better.
I can't imagine ever cutting my hair short again. So unless the unmentionable happens and my hair all falls out I'm keeping it long and playing with it. It needs an actual trim but I intend to grow it long long.
Thanks for an encouraging note, Charlotte. I'm about to embark on that same journey( I hope).
I still have most of my hair, but it's of a fine texture and was never thick. Curious to learn if the hairdresser will have something to work with.
