So today I put on my skirt and tights and went through a town centre. Most shops were closed and it was dead but I walked the streets wearing a grey top and a black skirt and tights. Don’t know if this is a good thing to do and I was nervous at first but now I know that there are random people who have seen me wearing a skirt with tights. Hope this is a good thing.

I envy your courage to do it. Most I’ve done is go outside of my house at night.
Hugs, Ruby
Well done Lily. Just being out there is exhilarating whether or not any interaction is experienced.

Lily,
Yes it's a good thing. You went out in public; nothing happened; you came home safe. Your next time out will be easier, as will each successive trip. Relax and enjoy.
Hugs,
Bettylou
That is an awesome achievement Lily, congratulations for taking that huge step. Keep doing it and make it a habit for a certain day of the week or a certain time of any day. Just make it comfortable for YOU as to the number of people you will possibly meet or the neighborhood you will visit. Parks are very good for a mice walk ad maybe passing people that won't give you a second glance. Just make sure you are safe and you will see how good it is to get outdoors.

Thank you Paula for the advice and encouragement

Hi Lily,
I think that was a good thing.
I am happy for you I hope you enjoyed yourself.
Patty
I'd say that is a success, you did it! Got dressed and went out for a walk, and everyday sounding thing, but that is a big step forward.

Lily -- Great, positive steps out the door! I hope you find increasing comfort and joy as you explore your femme side. Now that you've opened the door, literally, take advantage of more opportunities to venture outside the home when you can!
Every time I go out as Patty, I'm always nervous about going from the house to the car and wonder who might see me. Then getting out of the car and wondering who I might encounter always raises fears. Once I'm out though and walking away from the car, I always seem to relax and cherish the moment and experience.
Hi Lily,
Your outing was a positive experience. It was exciting and a new experience for you. The outing helps build your confidence.
Alice
You are a brave girl, but be careful out there.
