Here's another from George Carlin, that came to mind when giving a eulogy for Ramona, the lady who ran a crossdressing service and first introduced me to feminine attire, makeup, jewelry, heels, and the joy of going into the world to explore the woman within and all it invites: prom dresses, makeovers, mani-pedis, looking glamorous at a gala event, enjoying the swish of a skirt against one's nylons, feely sexy, being Ma'amed, having a man smile and hold a door open for me, and much more.. She considered herself a "reality artist" when helping others bring out their beautiful inner beings; she brought meaning to a quote attributed to George Carlin:
"It is not the moments we breathe that matter, but the moments that take our breath away."
Shit happens, but it washes off. ( lesson 101 of a first time parent.)
