Just wondering what you carry in your purse? I always have an extra tampon or two and a spare maxi pad just in case. Always have lipgloss and some makeup. An extra lighter and cigarettes. Always have some wet naps and lotion and perfume. It’s funny when me and my mom go out between us both we have so much stuff lol.
A commonly asked question Amber as the purse is like a Tardis*, appears small but has a deceptively large capacity. For me I have within a smaller purse containing money and cards, phone, makeup pouch, small hairbrush, lip balm, folding shopping bag, pen, note pad as standard contents for my daily use.
* Tardis is from Dr Who a U.K. sci fi series.
I try to carry as little as possible in my handbag (easy if you only stay indoors) - but usually I have some lipstick, perfume, purse with money/credit and ID cards, a small mirror, tissues/lacy hanky, phone, house and car keys, sunglasses (and case), pepper spray (in case I ever get the courage to step out!).
It’s strange, when in drab, I only have phone, keys, wallet, hanky and sunglasses (other than the lippy and perfume, about the same as when en femme) - and I usually make my wife carry them!
Her handbags are bigger than mine!

Might take some explanation in some cases.
Since I have a dumb phone, my world is on my tablet, so the purse needs to hold that. Otherwise very little, cash , 1 credit card, comb, tissue, sunglasses and a mask. If out a long time, a small amount of makeup items.

With my looks, no defense against assaulters needed. Maybe a purse snatcher. If I were to carry, would be S&W 642 Airframe, no hammer to catch on the purse, ready to go, no cocking, little room in purse needed. My go to in the truck is a Model 1911, .45 cal, yea I’m old school.
I carry a 9"x10" shoulder bag with a wallet for cards and cash, keys, reading glasses, small tubes for mints & medicines, small pad & pen, phone, short cable to connect my phone to a USB source, wig comb, makeup (lipstick, eyeliner, eyebrow pen, foundation), small makeup mirror, some tissues.
I have a handbag and a crossbody purse. If I'm traveling light and not stopping to shop I wear my purse, which will have a comb, lipstick and lipbrush, my phone, wallet, sunglasses, a pen, bus pass, small mirror, some kleenex, small bottle of my fave perfume, and an 'Always' extra long pantyliner.
If I know I'm shopping the handbag also comes along. It has my water bottle, scarves, maybe a pair of flats, extra pantyliners, my makeup kit, often something to snack on, a reusable grocery bag, some change and a $20 dollar bill, just in case.

In addition to the usual items, I carry an extra wig in my purse. When I’m out in public, if something were to happen to my wig, I’d be in a lot of trouble. I know it’s an unlikely scenario, but I’m trying to cover every contingency.
Knuckle dusters and a copy of the Daily Racing Form.
