What exercise routine do you use to try to make your body more feminine ? I do cardio and light weights but my muscles tend look masculine no matter how light I go. I have always put on weight too easily so I have to exercise a lot to keep my weight down, but I want to find a routine that can help me achieve a more feminine, or at least androgynous appearance.
I don’t exercise with that goal in mind other than some a breast support arm routine. I swim four times a week and bike and row two days a week.
I'm a farmer... so there isn't a feminine exercise for myself.
Holes to dig. Wood to cut. Animals to feed. Fences built and repaired. Sheds to build. Though it does keep the weight off.
I use intermittent fasting to keep my weight in check and, because of a heart condition, I walk wherever I can, during which I try to at least underdress, if I can.
Swimming, cardio without weight on the joints at my age. Do general gardening also.
When I work out it is not nearly consistent enough, I do a beach body aerobics program youv2. With an instructor and a bunch of girls. I put my leggings, sports bra, forms top and wig on,right in my living room and I love it. About 30 minutes of cardio and I get to be the girl that I want and like to be. Other times I do Tai chi, also very lovely, helps this old guy/girl stretch and work on calming and breathing techniques.
Right now I try to walk a lot, everyday. My home office is in the basement and I will use any excuse to run up the stairs. Get a drink of water or tea. Let the dog out. Get a pen or pencil. I think of the stairs as my friend.
Mostly cardio with some light strength training mixed in years ago I would lift heavy but the urge to drop a couple dress sizes and look feminine in a sleeveless dress or top I quit the heavy stuff.
Funny story a couple years ago I was trying on summer dresses at the mall I asked the sales associate if my arms looked too masculine in the sleeveless dress I was trying on her reply was no you have girly arms she then told me how muscular her husbands arms are. Yes I bought the dress.
At 76, I tend to just get on my recumbent stationary bike at least 3 miles daily, sometimes more, and, for most of the day, I have pink 1lb exercise weights strapped to each of my wrists. The bike is enabled for iFit so I get to ride wherever there is google maps & the bikes resistance automatically changes for the terrain. Oh, and I was a drinker so have a beer belly. I fell over last September, pissed as a newt, so packed in the drink. On the basis of that, I haven't had an alcoholic drink now in 8 months and with just that change, have lost 19lbs in body weight. I can see my toes, and the other bits, again!
My excerise routine is mostly lower body to include abdominal core. Strengthening exercises such as the leg press the glute press and hamstrings and calves…don’t forget the valves lol. For abdominal strength I do leg lifts and planks. For upper body it’s low weight and high reps. I have an active job that keeps me in shape too. My arms aren’t huge but they are muscular and a bit defined. There is nothing I can do about that. So I stick to sleeveless dresses/tops if it is a woman’s brand because the sleeves don’t fit lol. I’m a size 12-14 and 185 pounds at 6 foot tall so I’m good with that.
I have never gotten into the exercise thing, I know that I should but being in construction, I feel I do enough that keeps my body in movement. Now with that being said, I don't seem to move my gut enough because it's just getting bigger as I age, would love a magic pill to get ride of it.

Five days. A week I do 25 pushups and sit-ups. I do a 3 mile jog every morning and usually a 2 mile walk in the afternoon. That’s the best this 64 year old fart can do.
For starters, I don't exercise for the purpose of making myself more feminine. I exercise because I need to exercise to keep up strength.
Up until a few months ago, I would walk about 3 miles several times a week. I started this a few years ago, and started doing it en femme walking through my neighborhood. I took Pilates classes to help stretch my muscles twice a week. I took a strength training class (light weights but many reps) for all of the major muscles groups. I took a short core class once a week. And I took a short "targeted muscle group" class, where each week we would spend 15 minutes burning out either legs, chest, back, biceps, triceps, or shoulders.
I had to curtail everything a few months ago when I got sick. While I lost about 20 pounds over that period, I would not recommend the method to anyone. I had a cancer that was partially blocking my digestive tract, so I was unable to keep anything down, sometimes for 2-3 days at a time. I'm thankful I was able to make it through the Keystone Conference without any major problems. I had some pretty serious surgery last month and I'm still recovering, which is why I'm not dong much of anything at the moment. I hope to start up again sometime between mid June and the beginning of July.
I don’t work out specifically for a more feminine figure. I do it for overall health and stress relief. I used to do a lot of interval training. I supplemented that with bicycling and summit hikes. A few orthopedic injuries sidelined the intervals and hiking. I do more walking now and have recently discovered yoga. TBH, I wish I’d discovered yoga sooner. My knees would probably be in better shape. It’s a tough workout and it’s low impact. Big plus that it’s mostly women in the sessions.

I ride a peloton for 40 mins, 4 days a week and an elliptical 20 mins 4 days a week. Keeps the legs and backside in great shape and helps burn calories.
