Hi ladies . This may be a weird post but there are a few movie/TV scenes I saw when I was very young involving Crossdressing which stuck in my mind forever. Most of them were silly or stupid scenes but nonetheless they stuck with me and perhaps sparked my curiosity toward Crossdressing in the first place. (I’m not sure of the exact timeline between seeing these and actually dressing).
Anyway there was one specific movie scene I remember vaguely which stuck with me. To this day I cannot find the movie. It has bugged me for years lol
The snippet I remember goes something like this.. two men are in some sort of dressing room at a theater or playhouse or something. One of them is white and one of them is black. They are wearing some sort of formal dresses like showgirls would wear. As one of the men pulls a stocking over his leg, they look at each other and both smile and laugh.
I know this isn’t much but Does anyone know what movie this is?? It’s definitely pre-2008
I was a very young boy when I saw my first crossdresser program on TV back in the 60's. It was an Alfred Hitchcock episode about a young boy living on a farm with his grandmother, but he was being raised as a girl, and not having any other reference believed he was a girl. That's is until a stranger came by the farm one day and when he noticed how 'the girl' pee'd in the bushes enlightened her the she was a boy. The rest of the plot was about the conflict between the grandmother and now enlightened boy, how the grandmother resented men because her daughter, the boys mom, was in an abusive relationship and how she was killed in a drunk driving accident with her husband, leaving grandma to raise the boy.
I cannot find it online either, I think it was in season 3 and there always seems to be a few episodes missing in that season and it was one of those episodes. I think the title was , a girl who knew too much', or troubles with mary'. I looked and looked for it too, I wonder if its in the boxed sets. The boy who played the girl was Bill Mumy from Lost in Space fame. He may have sued to have it removed because of it being so controversial at the time.

The movie you're describing sounds like "To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything! Julie Newmar" (1995). In this film, two drag queens (played by Wesley Snipes, Patrick Swayze, and John Leguizamo) end up stranded in a small town after their car breaks down. The scene you’re referring to may be from the beginning of the movie, where the three of them are dressed up in elaborate costumes that are reminiscent of showgirls. The movie showcases themes of friendship, acceptance, and transformation, with the characters navigating both humorous and touching moments.
AI might be sinister in many ways but for things like this it's invaluable.

First memory of a crossdresser was in a James Bond movie.
The villain is dressed as a woman and tried to shoot Bond.
It didn't end well but got me thinking...
The AHP episode sounds sweet for the time. The plot to the AHP episode sounds like a scene from Huckleberry Finn. He dresses as a girl to escape and an older woman deduces he is a boy, through a series of tests she devises.
As a child, I remembering first watching a crossdressing movie called “Where’s Charlie?” a comedy.
However, the romantic comedy that really affected me was “Goodbye Charlie?” with Debbie Reynolds and Tony Curtis. She was a playboy who was murdered and comes back as a woman. Debbie Reynolds was beautiful.
I think all CDs need to see ”The Triple Echo”. A WWII period piece about a young soldier who first disguises himself as a woman then becomes enthralled with dressing as one.
