Hi girls
I’m having a little dilemma with the spelling of my name. I took the name AnnaBeth from a TV character but sometimes people split the name into two names so should I spell it Annabeth instead?
What I really want to know is. Does anyone have an interesting story on how they picked their name?
AnnaBeth
It is what you are happy with at the end of the day. Names are always difficult and I am sure that many women, and men, would want a different name. When I was mulling over my name I recalled a conversation with my mother where it was asked what my name had been if I were born a girl. That is my name and solved the problem as whether I like it or not my parents chose it.
That’s a great idea but my Dad is gone and my mom has a poor memory so I don’t have any idea what my girl name would have been.
Robin is the name of a girl I went to middle school with. She had quite the flair for makeup. I particularly loved her eyelashes. They were super long, thick and quite feminine. They were always generously coated with lots of mascara. I loved her eyelashes so much that one day after school I got into mom's makeup. In a few minutes I had lashes just like Robin's.
Hello Annabeth, I know what you mean about your name I sometimes have the same problem. Being Helenmarie people sometimes just shorten it to Helen, which I do not mind when they are speaking to me but when it is written down it should be spelt correctly.
love Helenmarie
I took the name Giselle from a lady my wife worked with.
She was a pretty French Canadien girl and I would have
loved to be her(my wife is also an attractive woman).
The first time I met her she was breastfeeding her newborn
baby and I so wished I had real breasts like her.
My name isn't interesting at all and is very common. Its the female of my male name which is Michael. The last name of McQueen just seemed to fit nicely with the first. I'm known as Michelle here but on another site I have a different more feminine name. Its cool we can change our names easily and I've used several over the years.
I have always loved the name Jessica. My last name comes from the Isle of Skye in Scottland. Probably one of the most beautiful places in the world I have been too.
Hi girls,
I know the most of you here on CDH use a feminine name that you've chosen and display with an avatar or photo on your page. My name really is Lauren and my mother gave me that name when I was born, I know now that she always knew about my feminine side. I was literally born that way and irregardless of the debate and what gender critical people say, there's ample scientific and medical proof that transgender women have female brains. But growing up and being expected to behave like a boy while having a girl's name caused me to receive a lot of teasing and bullying in school. I always knew I was supposed to be a girl and never did a very good job at acting like a boy. So Lauren is my legal given name, and it is perfect for my life now as a trans woman. My middle name is Paul, and I want to change that. I don't mind the name, it was the name of one of my mom's brothers, but I'd like to feminize it.
I looked online, found quite a selection of feminine versions of the name Paul, but I would like to hear from my sisters here on CDH as to what they think is the prettiest female version of my middle name.
Hugs, lots of big hugs,
Ms. Lauren M
I belonged to a book club that we titled the porn star book club, your porn name was the name of your first pet and your last name was the first street you lived on. Mine was Candy Remington, I thought of using that but didn't really care for Candy so I picked Sherri, I've always liked the sound of Sherri.
Sherri
I had used Dianne for years but wanted to change it. I had trouble finding one that I liked until I was watching a British show on TV & saw an actress I thought was very attractive. In the credits after the show I saw her name, Fiona, and immediately fell in love with it. In trying to decide on a last name, my mostly black cat walked by so I chose Black.
Fiona
I think that’s so predestined that your real name is Lauren. As for the best fem form of Paul I would vote for Pauline. “Lauren Pauline Mugnaia” kinda has a ring to it.

I like it! Maybe we are related in a kindred kind of way.
hugs

I simply changed the last letter of my name and became Kerri.
During my internship I met this wonderful lady. Her name is Alicia and she was an assistant. I loved how nice and smart she was. Also how feminine and elegant she always looked. She always wore skirts and had beautiful legs. That's why I chose her name.
