Hi ladies,

Something a bit different, perhaps a riff on what guy things  we do when dressed.

Yes there's home brew and cutting the lawns etc etc, but how about taking this further as per below

I'll "cast the first line".

Throughout my almost four decades of owning my own, (now sold), trailerable fishing boat, my warped sense of humour mused what it would be like to go fishing fully made up and dressed as Caty, more so if I happened to decide on evening wear.

The mind boggles about backing down the ramp in high heels without both car and trailer ending up in the "drink"!!. The impossibility of climbing into the boat down the ramp pier ladder in heels and then even if this worked if I bent over the side to net the fish of a lifetime, would my wig fall off or one of my breast forms come out of my bra and end up as a "silicon sinker??"

And could you imagine the comments from all the "macho males" on the ramp waiting to either retrieve or launch their own boats??....

Some how I don't think, "love the colour of that dress" would get a run.....

Nor would the aroma of "3 week old squid bait" go well with your "eau de perfum"

And whilst polls are popular on this site, here's another private one I ran some years back.

You are a CD out fishing in "all your finery" you lean over the side to net your "trophy fish", (insert species here) and you are in danger of  losing your wig /breast form as it floats near the net.

Which would you go for.?

The CD "fishos" went for the fish, the non fisho's the opposite. I was with the former, cos you cant circulate "brag photos" of a breast form to your macho fishing buddies...

ONE MORE FOR THE ROAD.

Here in Oz we have a type of sail boat called a couta boat and they happen to be "gaff rigged".

Reminds me of when I'm in Caty mode... Certainly keeps the "mainmast"straight!!

Also any CDH "fisho's" would know what the word gaff means in fishing parlence. For those non fishos its a short pole with a very sharp hooked point

Much larger versions are called a "flying gaff".

Made my eyes water typing this last lot...

Over to you all, lets keep the "impracticals" coming.

Caty

skirt and boat are not compatible crossing on a passerel  while in dock is ok casting off a snagged bow line and re fixing went on calm days and thin cotton skirt or dress but the dress tended to expose my bottom more quickly on gusty days id put on a stiffer jeans skirt when pulling in the bow line to move away from the dock in a swell

But when i anchored off i would always check that there were no boats moored close as its not elegant to climb aboard from the tender even with very comfortable panties

also sitting in the tender is generally bottom below knees then even a longer skirt dose not stay in place not to mention when the hem at the back trails in the bilge water then sexy short shorts and string are more suitable

Impractical:

(1). Bungee jumping/parachuting

(2). Front half of a pantomime horse.

(3). Being a glove puppet.

As regards a “gaff rig” they tend to have running rather than permanent backstays.

Hope I haven’t made a gaff(e).

Gilly

Window cleaning, on a ladder, on a windy day, in a skater skirt.

On the 'fisho' theme, would you be OK to go fly fishing when fully dressed?

Most yard work (mowing lawn, digging) but mild gardening in a sun dress on a cool day would be lovely.

I think going to work would be the most impractical for me. 🙂 I thought riding a bicycle might be trouble at first, but I could probably pull that off in the fall with a jacket on. I have plenty of pink/purple in my regular wardrobe.

It could be a very practical way to dress for that really, though I wouldn't judge anyone else's preferences. 🙂

This brings up many things but the one thing I have done many times is go shooting-pistol, and rifle target plus trap's once. Done wearing a skirt/top or dress and in 3" heels. Some photos I have posted doing this are the most viewed and commented I have.
