@hornbyogauge I prefer blue denim short shorts, a green scoopneck top with a lace bra (with breast form) and panties underneath.  In fact, I'm wearing them now!

@hornbyogauge I really love skirts and dresses. I have a couple of tennis/golf skirts that I really love. I also have an old pair of my SO's jeans that feel sexy with flared pant legs. But the bra is the thing that really gets me.

@hornbyogauge I love special occasions, when I get to dress up in heels, makeup and jewelry. I have several wonderful evening dresses I like to wear.

@hornbyogauge Absolutely a dress for me.   Always feminine and they make me feel empowered as a woman.   I love something about 3-4 inches above my knees with a nice pair of heels.  Unfortunately, I don't have the occasion to wear one that often.

Dresses…..

I also love those little sleeveless slinky Worthington (JC Penny’s) shirts with the drapey cowl neck on them. I think they are the embodiment of the five S’s

Soft

Shiny

Slinky

Smooth

Stretchy 😊❤️

@juststevie I must look at those.  I know Worthington is an upper JCP label.  I must start spending good money on good clothes.

@danikiss22 most of them are going to be on the secondary market now I think they may still carry a variant of them from time to time at JCP But you can search eBay for Worthington cowl neck top/shirt or worthington drape neck, even worthington sleeveless top and you should get some hits easily. I don’t know your sizing, but I’m 5’11 and about 215 lbs and an XL fits me quite well. They’re all very stretchy and have a lovely sheen to the fabric.

The ones you really want are the 95% polyester 5% spandex. Usually they have a picture of the tag that’s what I always look for if I have any doubts. This means it will be stretchy and still retain all the silky shininess of satin.

Poshmark is another go to. I bought a lot of them on there over the last few  years.

They are heaven to sleep, cuddle and (censored lol) with! 😁

I’ve always thought of them as the epitome of clothing that turned your crank as a kid just starting to explore his curiosity about women’s clothes (it certainly did for me lol).

The kind of thing that would nearly take your breath away and make your heart hammer in your chest the first time you “borrowed” it out of your moms closet and slipped it on.

I hope I didn’t go off the rails in a descriptive sense, but when you get yourself one you will see exactly what I mean lol. ☺️

@danikiss22 if you look at my public photos, I think I have a couple of me wearing one of those shirts. You will probably recognize the style when you see it, they were really popular in the 2010s The styling is timeless though, and I found plenty of them in the thrift store as well.

I never get tired of sharing my love for women’s clothes with other people. It annoys the hell out of my partner, sometimes though.🤣🤣

@juststevie Thank you Stephanie for the information.  As I build my wardrobe (for the last time!) I appreciate your information.  And the descriptive additions.  I remember from 20 years ago, I had much better tastes in women's clothes than my wife did.  Her mother dressed well.  Worthington or a little better.  But my wife, yikes. Army green... baggy blue jeans...  etc.

I have thought for many years I should work in a women's clothing store.  Anyway, to me, Worthington for women is like Stafford for me at JCP.  I will do some looking!  I'm XL also.

@danikiss22 Most of the specific stuff that I look for I have found on Poshmark. As an example, I have rebuilt a fair portion of my first wife’s wardrobe from back in the early mid 2000s. She had a lot of clothes that I became very attached to, but when her and I split, I was so mad at her, I threw the stuff I wanted to keep that she was going to let me have in a box and told her to take it. I never saw any of it again. Fortunately, I knew the brand name of many of the things she had and that made it easy to search for there.

But I think I’ve had the best luck on finding specific things there. More so than on eBay, but I find a lot of nice stuff on eBay too. As long as you know the brand name, you can really narrow a search down. The Google search app using Photos works good too for finding something that you like, but don’t know the brand name of or where it came from.

You will build your wardrobe back better than it has ever been and the next time you get that urge to purge, Remember what a disservice it was to you the last time it happened.

Life is too short to beat ourselves up over such things. I wish you the best of luck with it Dani 😊

I think I had better taste than my wife’ Did too lol😁

@juststevie Ohh yes!!  Wow you look great.  Especially the shiny cowl-neck one .  Oh yes I love how you stretch that one out!!  I have been almost totally content with my c-cup forms, but ooh you look nice and busty, I think I am gonna need to get a new set of forms!

@danikiss22 Thanks 😁.

I wear a 44C bra most of the time. I like the minimizer from Vanity Fair. The cheap ones from Walmart lol. I don’t really know the size of the form I would have to weigh them again. I bought them on eBay. I have a couple sets that are a little bigger and one that’s a little smaller than those. I have some stuff that’s a little snug so I use my smaller forms for that but these shirts have a lot of stretch and will fill out very nice.

Just take a look on eBay or Poshmark. That one I’m wearing in that picture with the leather pants on is one of my favorites. The white one with the orange flowers is pretty special too. You can generally pick them up between 10 and 15 bucks most of the time.

Believe me, once you get one you’re going to want more lol. I kind of went overboard with it, but I don’t regret it and I also have a number of doubles and some triples and patterns that I like that I’ve been able to pick them up cheap.

I didn’t even think of this until now, but in my private gallery, I have a collection of pictures just of those Worthington tops. That might give you an idea of what’s to be had. They made dozens and dozens and dozens of different colors, styles and patterns. I need to get some more pictures of other tops I have and put them in my gallery. I think it’s super that I can tell somebody else about these wonderful totally awesome pieces of feminine bliss lol  this isn’t the kind of information I would be sharing with the guys at work if you get my drift, lol

Do let me know if you pick any up. I know you will enjoy them.😊

@hornbyogauge My absolute favourite is a £10 polka dot mini skirt from Tesco's. It just proves you don't need to spend a fortune to get results.

@sashabennett THIS!!!!! 💯

I probably buy 80% of the women’s clothes I have at various thrift stores. The rest generally comes from eBay or Poshmark. Every once in a while, I will see something in a department store or online that I want and fork over the money for it but nearly all my favorite items have been secondhand at the thrift store.

@hornbyogauge I love leather and denim, they are my go to inspiration for what to wear.

My typical outfit is a , button down, cami top or body suit, a pair of jeans, usually low rise and boot cut with a bold and eye catching belt, I'm very y2k like that lol, and i cap the look off with high heel boots and a leather jacket. This style is what makes Chloe who she is, and all my outfits are in effect a variation of these basic elements. I add bold and daring makeup, jewelry and a small purse and other accessories to my looks to complement the bold, sophisticated, and different style that i love so much

Growing up i always loved punk, grunge and emo fashion as well as western and more professional fashion, and i just have fun mashing them together into something that is just me!

My favorite thing to wear is a well fitted underwire bra.  That said this time of year that can be a challenge although I have some shirts I can get away with it -

Panties of course -

And a nice floral midi dress with some swing.

@hornbyogauge I love skirts, just above the knee for going in public. You can get different looks by matching tops. With two different size for top and bottom, it gives me a better fit when accompanied with my shape forms and breast forms. A pair of nice jeans with 1 inch heals is hard to beat too. I would love dresses but very difficult to make them fit right. I need to find a seamstress to make one that I will enjoy wearing.

@hornbyogauge Panties, of course, but if I have to say an outfit, it would have to be a pair of leggings, a matching bra and panty set, and a comfy top.

@hornbyogauge Since your question makes me think about it - I realize what I like the most is what cost the most.  Not being cute - but the more expensive something is, the more likely it is to be higher quality.  You can just 'tell' it is good! And that is something that makes me feel very much like a special woman.

@hornbyogauge Lately, I've noticed that I am wearing a black, heavy denim miniskirt a lot, at home.

It has big buttons to join the wrap-around front together and is obviously very comfortable. I hope that it lasts a very long time. It does make my bare legs stick to wooden chair seats, though.

@hornbyogauge Today I wore my favorites: White full-figured Bali bra with forms, smooth decorative panties, flattering stretch top, then settled on jeans.  Today while driving across Montana, I was able to stop out at a pull-over spot along the highway and enjoy my second time walking about being dressed.  Both times, ok, it was out in the middle of nowhere.  But it's a start.  It is helping me to step out, little by little.  I'm looking forward to getting back Ito WI, and get more serious about establishing friendships and associations with my sisters.

Can I just say "yes"?

I don't really have a favorite. I love skirts/skorts/dresses/shorts/slack/jeans, basically everything. My closet looks like that of any woman and what I wear is the Pick-of-the-day. Unless I'm going somewhere really nice then it's a dress of course.

One of my fave things to wear is women's one piece swimsuits, and not just any swimsuits but the kind you see the girls wear during olympic diving or the knee suits worn by the female athletes during their swim.

While I do like to wear skirts, camis, ... sometimes underdressing in a swimsuit is quick and easy when i don't have time to fully transform.

@wendyswift  Hi Wendy, I sometimes wear a swimsuit as a camisole top with jeans.  I'm out and open so I let it show.  I usually cut the bottom of the suit and sew a hook and eye from the cut off end of an old bra into it so bathroom breaks are easier.  Happy Summer,  Marg

Always a bra.  Usually a small cup size, B cup,  when I'm in boy mode.  And luckily bigger cups, usually D, when i'm out looking !
