Today, I realized that I am approaching the 6 month mark of my joining our community. It is amazing to think that I have only been a member of CDH since last May and how much of a positive impact it has and continues to have on me. And I hope I have been able to do the same for all of you. Funny to think how unsure I was when I first joined and if I was making the right decision, which of course it was. Or my first time in chat and not knowing what to expect. The wonderful greetings from everyone and the connections made to a most fantastic group of ladies!. So thank you Vanessa, all my sister ambassadors and the whole community! I am not sure I can truly express how much you all mean to me.

Hugs right back at you, Michelle. I haven’t even hit the three month mark yet, but I couldn’t imagine a day without at least one visit to CDH. I love welcoming new members in the same way that others (including yourself) made me feel welcome. There’s nothing like signing in and seeing the notification icon lit up, which means that either I made somebody’s day, or somebody is about to make mine. 🙂

If I hadn't already known how long you've been registered I would have guessed much longer, you're always there it seems, offering thoughtful replies and welcoming new members like a seasoned pro. While I may not always post, I check in VERY often, it has become part of my routine. You along with some of the other fine ladies here are what makes the site a comfortable place to spend time, share, and provoke thoughts of not only our own journey but how to be more accepting and supportive of the journey of others. Having strong committed members in the community who were there to welcome us makes us strive harder to be there for the newer members behind us (pay it forward). Thank you. hi michelle, I second everything you say. CDH for me has been a place of new beginnings, a better future and to meet lovely friends like yourself. I feel so lucky. time wise, well I joined in October this year, but I feel ive been here for life! (but in a good way though!)

I'm always thinking about my opportunities to get on line and come here, read, write, learn. It has been very valuable, and makes me feel like a part of a community I may not have found otherwise.
