I know how hard and frustrating it can be when it comes to obtaining girly close. Which is why I would like to give away what I have collected over the years to some local CDer. I just don't know how to find such people that would love to accept this boon. I live in the central coast of California: SLO town. Not big enough to have a thriving support community for the gender alternatives, with a donation box or such, that I know of. If anyone in the area is interested or knows someone that may be interested or has an idea how I can find someone around here who would like a lot of tops, jeans, shorts, leggings, dresses, skirts, bras, tights, belts, handbags, shoes, and various underwear things, to let me know. Most items are size small or around a 6 or 7 in womens sizes and most of it is slightly used (not by me) with a few brand new articles. About 8 large duffle bags full. I don't want to lose all this, but it's costing me a lot to keep in storage until some elusive time in the the future when my folks (who I take care of) have passed on and I get my own place. I haven't driven in over 20 years and just don't want to, which means someone would have to come to my storage and get it. There is a dumpster at the storage place, but I just can't get myself to just throw away all that I pain stakingly collected. I hope that this post is ok here, I'm not very socially experienced in cyberspace, so if I'm off topic or out of line for what ever reason I apologize. I would put my email address and phone number here but I'm not sure if that's within the guide lines.

I hope that it doesn't come to that, but if nothing else can be arranged, then surely there are charity clothes drop-boxes in your community, probably more than one. You could spread the lot to more than one.

In the Coachella Valley there are a couple of organizations that have closets for trans people, but you are about 5 hours away, so I doubt if that will work.

That sounds like quite a collection, and it's very thoughtful of you to want it to go to some sisters rather than the local charity shop.
You're right to not place your email and phone number in an open post. This is, as you suspect, against the site rules. However, you can exchange details by Private Message instead. But not on anyone's Wall, that's still visible to anyone!
