Wouldn't it be a bit easier

I  think that it would be a bit easier to be accepted if I also gave a particular performance in 'my outfit'. So besides being a crossdresser and looking like the opposite gender, also showing a certain talent for singing, modelling or acting etc.  I wish I had done more with my talent so far haha! May be people might be less likely to condemn me this way. Any opinions on this?

Yes that would make it much easier.  A little over 40 years ago when I started to really get interested in CDing I had a dream of becoming a 'female impersonator'.  NOT a drag queen as we all know them today, but with my voice and my love of Karen Carpenter and her music, I think I could have done a pretty good impersonation of her.  BUT I was young and chickened out.

I suppose it is whether they see you as a performer or a C.D. it maybe easier for yourself to come out and acceptance comes with it.
