As of last week, I have been a member of CDH for 2 years. It has been an incredible journey from the being so tentative to chatting with anyone to now editing and writing articles. I never thought that I would be active on a site, let alone be an Ambassador and your friendly neighborhood Resident Editor. The confidence gained through the help here to accept a part of me that was hidden for so long is immeasurable, I cannot thank enough the members past and present that have befriended me. The past year has had some really incredible firsts, beginning to come to terms as to my gender identity, getting a chance to spend more time as Michelle than I thought I was ready for, to even planning on going to Keystone (hopefully next year), helping to create the Media Review and of course becoming the Resident Editor. Even as I have had a few personal issues since my one year anniversary, the warmth and support receive is a true blessing. So I continue to look forward to reading posts, chatting, writing and more importantly getting to know a truly amazing community.

Happy anniversary, Michelle! Time flies here at CDH, doesn’t it? In two years time, you’ve accomplished five years of CDing progress. I wish you many more. And me, too! Maybe in a few years I’ll be ready for my own first Keystone adventure. Unlikely, but if I do we must get together there and raise a glass or two!

It's amazing how the time goes by and what we have indure through those passing moments. We're always opening new chapters in our lives, dealing with our issues and ever reaching new opportunities. I'm soon to reach my third wonderful year and always discovering more about myself with support from everyone here.
Your a wonderful person and one I'm proud to have as a friend. Confidence is a beautiful thing and does make us truly unique in who we are. Best to you and your special lady Gwenn and together may you both venture through wonderful times.. hope we'll meet next year at keystone.
